I'm pretty sure it needs to be more or less an exact match these days. Again, I could be wrong - haven't bothered trying to use it recently - but I'm sure I remember typing an exact match, searching titles only, and getting nothing on one occasion. I'm not too fussed, it's not at all important...
You know, when you have a point to make on a thread which hasn't cropped up for a week or two and then can't quite remember the exact title. Have always found that even the advanced search is not very good at recognising even the nearest of misses. Could be just me.
Search function seems very similar to previous incarnation. Will this ever change (improve)? Can count the number of searches successfully completed on the six toes of my foot.
