    But then that could work against players who sustain genuine head injuries. A manager might not take a player off if they think they will lose them for 7 days

    This sounds like a good idea but badly thought out. Physio should do initial checks and then indicate to the bench that further checks need to be made by the Doctor. This should not be a substitution but a HIA as they do in Rugby.
