    Ben Hockenhull - Brentford B - Signs to June 2022 (+1yr option)

Looks to be auditioning for the part of Mads Bech Sorensen.

Rico Henry - Signs to June 2023

Ah right, well yeah, sure, though left back in the Brentford system seems to be a more specialised position than it appears, as we're seeing right now!

Rico Henry - Signs to June 2023

Yeah, but he won't be moved out to left back I'm betting, given Sorensen has been pushed out there on occasion! Not a defensive player!

Halil Dervişoğlu - (June 2024) - On loan to Galatasary until June 2021

Hasn't been involved in Galatasaray's three most recent matchday squads. It could be that he needs to up his fitness before they'll consider him.

Rico Henry - Signs to June 2023

When it comes to naturally left-sided naturally defensive players at the club, all we've got is Sorensen, Janelt and Gordon. All other full backs are right-sided.

Marcus Forss - Signs to June 2026

He hasn't scored a goal since he signed that massive contract back in December. It's probably something that'll take some getting used to, keeping your work rate/motivation levels sky high, while being contracted up the kazoo. I get the feeling though if he scored just one, he'd get a hatful.

Rico Henry - Signs to June 2023

You never know, we might even go 3-4-3.

    Janelt Explains the Brentford Principle

Daniel O'Shaughnessy was loaned there as well.

Paris Maghoma Brentford B - Signs to June 2021 (+1 yr option)

With the cup competitions over, the powers that be being reluctant to fill out the bench with B teamers (just to make up the numbers) and with first teamers returning or to return to fitness, I don't see him making the bench again this season. The length of his contract has never been disclosed...

    Mads Bidstrup - Brentford B - Signs to June 2023 (+1yr option)

Don't have the info to hand, it might be in the interview vid referenced above, but I believe he arrived at GP having had recurring patella injuries previously, he popped it going into pre-season with us and the decision was made to fix it once and for all.

Patrik Gunnarsson - signs to June 2023 (+1yr option)

Better hope the Silkeborg defence doesn't sh*t the bed.

Christian Nørgaard - Signs to June 2024 (+1yr option)

My gut feeling is not quite yet, as he wasn't in the squad for the B team match last night, unless for some reason he doesn't need any B team minutes before coming back into the first team fray.

Paris Maghoma Brentford B - Signs to June 2021 (+1 yr option)

Not in the squad versus Stevenage XI.

    Wraynel Hercules - Brentford B - Signs to 2021 (+1yr option)

Poor old Wraynel, the curse of the in-house interview strikes again! 0:15 - "You've been coming up against alot of first team players as well and how did you find that test?" 1:39 - "Do you enjoy those tests against first team players?"

Shandon Baptiste - Signs to June 2024 (+1yr option)

It gets to the point with some contracted players where you get to the final months of the season and though they are fit or approaching it, the staff are like nah, sack off this season mate and we'll get you in early for pre-season.

Ben Winterbottom- Brentford B - signs to June 2023 (+1yr option)

I wouldn't read too much into it...yeah he might've known going in that he wasn't going to progress, but he still did all the things most Brentford B signings have done - ie. he made U18, U23 and EFL Trophy appearances, plus he was an unused sub for the first team on one occasion.

Sergi Canós - signs to June 2023 (+1yr option)

On Sky it has long been the case for a number of seasons. To our eyes, particularly 2-3 years ago, us here would be all a bit like "Sergi...argh", but come the time his number was held up around 60 mins, Don Goodman or whoever would question "why Brentford are taking Canos off, when he's give...
