I'm well aware there are one or two other major events taking place which may have put this down the priority list, but does anyone know if and when this will be available to purchase for the upcoming season?
And will they do the international version again?

I'd be very surprised if they reopened the membership scheme before we were back to full capacity attendances being allowed.

Another reason memberships will not be needed are that there probably won't be any away fans, so they won't come into selling for our away games.

We will need a membership scheme though if non season ticket holders are eventually allowed in as all of the away fans will want to come to our new stadium.

Maybe this years scheme can cover two seasons when its launched... Will be better value for money.

Don't think away fans will be allowed in this season.

They probably wont be but unless the attendance is restricted to season ticket holders only you will need some sort of scheme to keep them out

Seeing as we have 11,000 season ticket holders, and the attendance will be probably be restricted to well below that, I would have thought that it will be just ST holders.

Yep. No members, no away fans - until all 11,000 STHers can attend the same match together.

Surprised they couldn't / don't want to put together a few sweeteners to tempt people to take up membership (albeit without the usual priority ticketing rights while there are still Covid restrictions)
And on an admin front, maybe one day there'll be an occasion when it'd be handy to have a record of continuous membership.

It's a revenue stream at a time others are silted up. My 2019/20 overseas membership was £25, and I was able to travel and attend a game. There is pretty much no chance I'll be able to come from the other side of the world by May 2021, but I will absolutely renew if/when we get notified. It's a chance for those of us far away to make a small financial contribution.

It doesn't seem like the penal colony is going to let us out before the end of next year at the soonest, but like my stripy friend, if they sell o/s memberships, I will buy one.

These last two points were also my thinking and similarly to me it seems to be a sentiment shared by overseas fans.
As we're abroad, we're unlikely to purchase a season ticket. Membership would be the next best thing to feel part of the club and it's still some amount of contribution, even if we won't be able to buy tickets for half or even the whole season.

In the shed.
Much like the kickstarter projects that give the option of making a small contribution but not purchasing the product.

Jeez......bloke asks a simple question and we get all the ST's jumping up and down!!
11,000 ST's sold.......plenty of those probably would have been expecting Premier League footie.
I too will renew my membership when available, when this fiasco of a virus and the bigger fiasco of knee bending players goes away,I hopefully will be able to get hold of my home and away tickets, when back visiting.

Like others I have no chance of getting back this season however, would still like to keep my membership current by trying to do my bit for the club.

He (and you Lush) can't be a real fan 'cos you ain't got a ST.
Simple.
Just sit back and enjoy the fireworks when priority for LR attendance is based on how much your ST cost and all the newbies in the posh seats get first dibs.

If you haven’t got a ST you aren’t getting in to LR until full opening. The vast majority of posh seat STs were bought by fans.

I appreciate cashflow issues and not being local make some not be interested in a ST, though I note some of those who whinge about priority for posh or other seat STs themselves happily drop £2-300 on a weekend in Blackpool for our matches at PNE so could, if they really wanted to, have bought a ST and cut down on the bags of cans. Or be honest and say that they prefer the fun of away days and a skinful over seeing all home games.

Most of those that do go to Blackpool weekenders etc.........ARE season ticket holders and have been for many years........Myself, I have been around the Bees for near 60 years and I enjoy my membership and away days, when I can...........all I can say is....your statement is stupid unless you forgot the fishing rod,it which case you caught me!!!!!

Hope you're right, because they should be catered for first and rightly so. Only fair financial way to do it.

However the only truly 'fair' way is length of service, but won't happen in this modern world

I doubt they will be selling any memberships this year.

There aren’t any memberships.

The Brentford website has “register your interest” as the only option.
