Be lucky if we win another one this season, Community club my arse or me and Voice would be sharing coaching duties.

libg way today, starting 11 wasn’t one most of us would have chosen but let’s face it, Thomas was handicapped with injuries to our spine and most influential players coupled with knocks midweek to Fosu and Josh that meant he wanted them to get some rest.

No real additional harm done position wise as a result of loss today, 5 out of top 8 list so no point in what ifs tonight. Get a result midweek, get Norgaard and Toney back in next 2 weeks and we’ll still have plenty of games to cement a place in the top 2.

Keep the faith and we won’t keep off the pitch last game Voice

I keep reading one, that’s for sure.

It’s still February and we’re still second. What a disaster!
Some very interesting games in March in the Championship, keep in close touch till then and then we will see who the better sides are

I think the way this season’s going none of the Top 6 teams want to play us in the playoffs so when we drop points they think we must match Brentford’s results

Let's have it, bring on the next game!

15 games to go - 45 pts at stake.

No losers attitude here in my part of KT16 (North Surrey Bees) Brigade. 😆

I did think we were showing signs of hubris in the last few weeks after the reading game. And this thread is the opposite (diffidence?). It's all a bit bipolar. We are still 2nd and in a good position. Keep calm.

after watching that abhomination of a display we can now safely say goodbye to automatic promotion and when you condider our hideous record in the play offs its fair to say we wil be starting in the championship again next season.......TF has to take a lot of blame for that starting line up today but some our of players need to take a long hard look at themselves tonight......canos, mbeumo, jensen, ghoddos, raya, forss and roeslev (and even rico in the last 3 games including today) were absolute rubbish.......we are soooooo a one man team in Toney and pontus and norgaard must be looking on thinking if only.......words cant describe how bad that was today and we looked like a team going down instead of pushing for promotion......i really dont know how TF will sort this out as his choice of the starting line up showed some disrespect for who we were playing today.....when i saw it i thought we were playing morecombe in the fa cup instead of going for 3 fkin vital fkin points to put a stop to the rot but hey ho he knows best....hmmmmmmm
You wrote this before we saw Swansea get smashed to pieces at a relegation struggler,

Many more twists to go, we win the next 3 and let’s see if the others can keep reacting.

Another thread that needs closing down as soon as a possible.

We've lost 3 in 24, or 1 in 8, that's good, promotion type form. With Watford coming like a train, weren't we a couple of weeks ago?
Don't panic Mr Mainwaring!

I think Watford are the least of our worries. They are nothing special. They have scored about six goals away from home all season and probably have enjoyed getting more penalties to date than most teams get in a full season. If Deeney had been fit to play their last two games, they would have drawn and not won and they have stumbled upon a winning line up by chance. They were lucky to beat Derby last night and like Swansea were anther team we played off the park on their home ground. The referees obviously like them, but take Sarr and Hughes out of the team and they are nothing special.

Amazing how things change in a week,Christ even Sawnsea's so called excellent defence get a right hiding today. Hopefully his time next week we will all be a lot more cheerful. Having said that today was as poor as it gets, but didn't our nine game winning run last season start with Sheff. W. I sincerely hope that the same happens this season.

What a bizarre overreaction of a thread.

If, before the first game of the season had kicked off, you’d offered people on the Grapevine the choice of being 2nd in the table and 11 points clear of 7th with 15 games to go, or taking pot-luck, pretty much every single one would have bitten your hand off. Keep the faith

What if I happen to be right though ??? And I fkin hope I’m very very wrong ....but what if I am right and that exactly happens....you’ll be the first on here to say what a spot on thread that was yeh ??? ;) Hmmmm
Yes, if football is unexpectedly cancelled on Monday, the table is decided on points per game and we miss out on promotion, I will concede that you were right, this past 6 days ended our season.

But assuming the season finishes as normal and we play 46 games, no matter where we end up, it won’t be because the past 6 days ‘ended our season’. In February.

Then Swansea went and lost 1-4 and QPR beat Bournemouth. Truth is no one is very good in this league and no one is very bad. We have lost 3 and are still second until someone goes past us. We are not going to lose all 15 (or win them all) but it is now a race to the finishing line for the last third of the season. I am not throwing in the towel yet. Our rivals simply are not good enough to deserve that. They will falter too.

Sorry, but of the teams below you, Watford are probably the team you should fear most. Yes they’ve had a ridiculous amount of penalties this season, but let’s face it, that’s never hurt Man Utd. Too many if’s and but’s in your analysis of them. To basically say that Sarr and Hughes are their only good players and without them they are nothing special is a bit ridiculous. With the greatest of respect, they could probably say something similar about you regarding Toney.

If I had a season ticket, I'd be sending it back. Along with my MBE.

tend to agree Watford are the club to worry about...would think the top two will be Norwich and Watford. Seems to me we will have to manage our resources well over the coming 2 months to ensure are top 11 are there for the play off campaign. We are not cursed re the play offs - we need to hold our nerve and play the long game.

I said if Toney was out injured for any length of time as he is so important to our promotion push...thankfully he has come back after only missing 1 game and thus we are winning again...if any divs want to come on here and try to score points then feel free to Prove your divness ;) I’m just pleased we are back in the automatic chase again

7 days after this thread was started we're still in second place, and we've opened a 3 point gap on the teams below us. Curious.
