I went to Singapore an extraordinary amount of times between 10 and 4 years ago. I loved it. Especially the bar under the Hyatt.

Ah yes, know it well.

I've been a regular visitor to Singapore since 2014 although not since the Covid outbreak. My company used to book me into the Royal Plaza on Scotts over the road although latterly I managed to get them to book me into a hotel at Clarke Quay .....looking forward to getting back at some stage

Home of the Timbers who won the MLS League Cup last year. They won the MLS Cup back in 2016 and were captained by Liam Ridgewell who many of you may remember at West Brom.

I became a Brentford fan back in 2009 completely by accident when I was making yearly audit trips to London. I picked Brentford to stay at for proximity of the train to Reading, the price per nite at the Sheraton, and ability to head downtown

On my last night in London, the locals in the pub basically dragged me to Griffin Park to see the Bees play in the Carling Cup vs Everton

What an amazing experience that was. Started following the team after that. I'm looking forward to seeing the new stadium next season. Hopefully in the Premier League

Not far, about 20 minutes from Tel Aviv in a city called Kfar Sava. Familiar with the surrondings here?...

Yes, I travelled to Israel about 6 times or so while working for an Israeli technology company, travelled all over so am very familiar with the country.

First went to Singapore mid 70s. Fascinating place with the outdoor markets and eating establishments. Death houses and whore houses of Sago Lane. Lady boys in Bugis Street. The old Raffles hotel was the biggest building on Beach street. Now it's a sanitised sprawl of modern high rises with little character. Much like Bangkok and KL. Still worth a visit.

So You are originally from the US? How did you started supporting the bees?

No, I was born in Brentford High Street and my Dad supported Brentford during the First Division days, so it was destiny. I left England at 19, did 20+ years in Australia and 25+ years in the US, which I now call home. My son (30 years old), who was raised in the US on American Football, but now lives in Manchester, considers it his destiny to support Brentford. Get's lots of "whoooo?" from his Manure and sh*tty supporting friends / work associates.

Nah, I'm more a history buff so for me it was Jerusalem, Caesarea, Sea of Galilee, Bethlehem, Masada, Dead Sea etc, with a side trip to Petra in Jordon.

Though some R&R on the Red Sea at Eilat was never disappointing.
