After todays performance I am much, much more hopeful of a good result. Swansea will be no pushover but we are no pushover by a long distance when we click - like we did today.

Forss hat trick after He comes on in the 71st minute. 🙂

3-1 Bees. Repeat of the play off result.

They’ll be itching for some revenge. Expect us to edge it by a goal but a draw wouldn’t be a disaster in my opinion.

2-1. Toney and Forss

Tough game - think Swansea will be top 6 this season but feel we have some wind the sails now. 2-1, Toney/Ghoddos

Game 10. Should be a decent game and a good measure of progress to date.
Swans are up to 2nd (and seem to favour black shorts this season!)
Last weeks opponents- Norwich -cruising in 4th...

Definitely win, we played really well against a good Norwich team and should of came away with all 3 points if it weren't for an sh*tty deflection. We also looked very organised against Luton even though they are a weaker team, these are the last 2 games so I feel we will carry this form into the Swansea game and win. 3-1 Bees.

Tough tough game, might be able to nick it but would take a draw provided we beat Boro at the weekend!

Middlesbrough looking very good under Colin. Dont like his style but he is a very good manager.

Looking at their line-up from Saturday and the highlights, is Bidwell playing left wing for them now rather than full-back?

Yep. These next two games are against probably the two best teams in the division at the moment. Very tough. Four points would be great.

They don't like Frank very much do they: Brentford v Swansea City : Pre match review : Maybe the game should be played in BARKING ! - Swansea City News

As far as I can tell his crime is sticking up for his players when their entire bench was trying to get them sent off for fair challenges, and then for stating (correctly) that we were a better team and would win the second leg, comments clearly aimed at boosting the confidence of our demoralised players. Meanwhile their dour manager was pathetically trying to pressure the FA into upholding Rico's red card and bleating about how much more money we'd spent (despite Ayew earning more than the GDP of some countries).

So I'd like to beat them but given their strong start I think this one may be a draw 2-2.

I think Swansea have good players but an average manager. We have good players and a good head coach and this will make the difference in a tight game which we will take 1-0. They fell apart in the PO second leg despite the advantage Stroud gave them in the first and had no answers. It will be physical, borderline dirty, but Bryan pings one in to win it.

Off topic, but I don't believe I have access to post new forums, but I was thinking has there been a better football
team than us who has not got to the premier league?

I think the tone will be set in the first 15/20 minutes, need to push high up the pitch like last time out at GP and not drop off too deep and surrender the middle of the pitch. I wonder if TF will start with the same midfield 3 from the semi 2nd leg as our fast start definitely impacted on them and set the foundation for our victory and performance that night.

Think it'll be akin to the Norwich game so if we perform similarly, take our chances and TF manages tactical substitutions better after the hr mark we'll run out 3-1 winners.

2-0 HT
