New owner pumping in lots of money into the club and making signings more equivalent to a club in a much higher league. Rumour has it from a fan at work that they are talking to Paul Konchesky.

Crowds are well up, but I hope this doesn’t end in tears.

New owner is a friend of the current manager.

They have tried and failed before. Their ground infrastructure has some potential for growth, even Orient could ground share!!

New owner is in the Steel industry hopefully not the steal industry.
Tried to buy Dagenham previously.

Reminds me of the old joke: "My parents are in Iron and Steel. My mum irons and my dad, er, is self-employed..."

Anyhow, can you say who the new owner is?

Clue, perhaps?

EDIT: Oops! Just saw Gee Bee's link. Joke still stands.

Used to go watch Billericay regularly for 10 years when I lived there (2001-2011), highlights being massive player / management / directors / fan pitch invasion fight against Dover (or might have been Tonbridge Angels....cant remember....always got blind drunk there and it always got a bit punchy against Kent teams), the cup run which resulted in a match against Swansea, and the Justin Edinburgh era

This club has had significant investors in the past and as such has excellent facilities and in its time used to pull in decent crowds. When I was last there (a while ago) there was a sense that the owner had sadly lost interest, real shame as really good club house that could be used for loads of events

Great club, I wish them well

Will most likely be playing the mighty Brightlingsea Regent who have put a run together of 12 wins and 2 draws in their last 14 games to go six points clear of the Ryman North division

Pull this off and they will also be up against our old friends Staines Town

Not bad with average crowds of about 90 and stuck up in the middle of nowhere, come on the Regent, would love to see the Bees play here in the cup one day...

Konchesky signs, but the new owner has also made himself manager!! Not sure what's happened to his friend who was manager.
http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/15130455.Edwards__Broken_promises_reason_for_my_resignation/ :D This is looking like another Hornchurch scenario which ends badly.

I see they won 3 0 away at Dulwich.

The money seems to be working

Billericay Dickie on SSN today. He's a character isn't he? Have a look at the changing rooms and tunnel, and listen to what he has to say about them.

Didn't get to where he is today by being nice to everyone he meets, is my guess.

Lost to K's on the opening day of the season, but have won every game since.

Remember them years ago being a very goodFA Vase team.

...who donated £35,000 towards a boy's operation.
If he was really decent he'd have done this without everyone knowing about it and shouting it from the rooftops in the papers.... Not saying it's not a good thing to do but the bellend aspect is strong!

Read about their owner and manager Glenn Tamplin

Then you will see why
He's got some strange antics but has spent £2m and vastly improved the ground too. He has a dream and will probably end in tears. However locals should enjoy it whilst it lasts.

I do, they still have to come to the mighty Brightlingsea Regent

Interesting that their home form has gone downhill as their pitch deteriorated. He might like to invest in that?

Facing three relatively straight forward games this week, which is going to be the norm, with all the games in hand.

Come Easter Monday they would have played 7 games in two weeks as they try to catch up. Lost again Thursday to Tonbridge as League season starting to fall apart because of the congestion.

At the Tanners (Leatherhead) a week today. Leatherhead going well, despite a blip midweek, and pushing for the playoffs. Should be an interesting game.
