As somebody who has his own demons and is trying to deal with them, I am well versed to identify a narcissistic fruit cake.

Might explain that a player they signed in the Summer and loaned back to Ascot United is now moving in January.

The guy they signed has scored 30 goals already this season the Hellenic Premier Division.
I'd keep an eye on him in the National League to see how he copes there. Still scoring for fun, I'd suggest a trial....

As I have seen it termed locally, the balloon has not burst here. It is deflating quickly!

I picked up the statement via the local FB page. I have suggested they look to follow the model such as our. As always with these guys, it is about instant success.

It will certainly be interesting to see the response from Local Business people as per the statement.

The ground is also very adjacent to town expansion plans.

Making a habit of conceding late goals and throwing away leads.

2-0 up with 5 minutes to go at home to Dorking Wanderers, and end up drawing 2-2, their 4th draw in a row, and have slipped down to 8th place.

Closer to the relegation places than the top.
Nice ground now and a local club members consortium owning all clubs affiliated from age 5 upwards. Building a good community club without an egomaniac in control, who did put money in and has not seemly getting anything back.

Also in a division higher than when Tamplin got involved.
Agreed, although time will tell, as without his financial support, they are punching above their weight, and I believe their higher earning players have moved on since he left. Reckons he got fed up with some fans abusing his family - blinkin’ retards. Reminds me of Glyn Hopkins getting hacked off at Dagenham & Redbridge because the fans were levelling unacceptable abuse at him and his family, so he pulled the plug mid-season, and they almost drowned. Hardly improved their club’s chances of getting back to the football league with their stupidity. I get it when a club is being mismanaged like Bury, Macclesfield or Gateshead last season, but fans turning nasty because they think they are entitled to a better team, or the club has lost 3 games in a row, and that the owner needs to constantly keeping dipping into his own pocket are a millstone round their club’s necks. Sadly, we have a few fans at BFC who don’t show MB the gratitude he deserves when things aren’t going as well as they believe they should be.

Wouldn't be surprised if Romford first signing will be Tamplin's son.

This is different to MB, Tamplin is a self proclaimed saviour and an egotistical idiot. He then throws his toys out the pram when it isn't as easy going as well as he likes.

As a local listening to the debate, I am no Fan of Tamplin and it did appear to be about him. That said, like him or not, he has left a positive legacy in much improved facilities, a far more robust playing surface to the weather (I know, not cars  ) and, as much as anyone can, has established the club one step higher in the Pyramid. The new consortium are making 'good noises' about an inclusive community club. Time will tell.

I missed a recent fans forum. Wanted to get down to see what the consortium sees as 'success' and were they aware of the issues of genuine people buying a Football Club and then running into financial problems. Also if they have Accounts involved and how they envisage developing the player squad.

They’re continuing to slash the wage bill Moses Emanuel (Adebola) released to make club more sustainable, he’ll probably turn up at Romford tomorrow!!
Tamplin tweeted today asking for big lump centre back and centre forwards playing at least 2 leagues higher to contact him!!

Romford lost their first match under their new owner 3-2 at 'home' to Coggeshall Town.

Someone's been messing with Romford's Wikipedia page.

Romford probably deserved their own thread now, theyve hardly played a game in last month due to waterlogged pitches, the one game they played they lost 6-0 manager/owner then sacked a majority of those players and has now recruited 38 players (some already sacked). Although he has TV personality Mark Wright (Josh brother) signed up and now also part owner!!

Something fishy here....

Romford’s game against league leaders Maldon & Tiptree, due to be played this Saturday, 25th January 2020, has been brought forward to Friday, 24th January 2020 with a 7.45 pm kick-off.

This change has been made to avoid a clash with the Brentwood Carp Show, Britain’s biggest show of its kind, which takes place at The Brentwood Centre on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January. The popularity of this event would have made travel to the ground and car parking extremely difficult and the clubs have agreed to move the fixture to avoid any inconvenience to players and supporters.

The Brentwood Centre does host a number of major events each year in parallel with being the Towns 'Leisure Centre'. Busy nights at the Leisure Centre make parking hard enough.

Not sure attending numbers for a Romford game so  is there is anything beyond that in the date change.

BTW, from a remote distance dropping in and out of twitter, Club seems to be ticking on OK in the new era. Two fans forums in the last three months (both of which I missed ) Looking to get down to a few games. Coincide perfectly with GP as present.

Billericay have had all kinds of problems with their pitch and had another game called off today.

Yes.

Very much a ‘We are where we are’ situation’.

Mr O’Hara’s squad depth will be tested March April time

Hopefully we can still use this for Billericay stuff, who have dropped like a stone since they go new owners to replace GT, partly because they can't get a home game on.

Lost 3-0 at league leaders Wealdstone today, ans are in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle, being three points off the bottom two, although they do have a few games in hand.

Jamie O'Hara also signed a new 2 year managers contract extension.

Interest. Been all sweetness and love since the takeover. Suffered a couple of heavy defeats in the last week or so.

Keep meaning to attend the regular (about every six - eight weeks) fans forums
