Winterbottom is one who can be added to the MIA list. The only reason I can presume why JT seems to be getting games is that BW is at some type of stage where training and preparing for next season is more beneficial for him than playing matches at the present time.

What of the other disappeards? Maghoma? Hockenhull?
Must be a triallist GK on show, at least.

Based on recent cameos, would it be a bad thing to mix it up by putting Pressley, whose just scored by the way, on the bench instead, or alongside, of Forss and maybe use him in games to try nick the goal we so desperately need.

Is there a chance that we have furloughed some players?
Why on earth would we do that? The business is still operating, we are still playing matches, and have a full staff that includes many Trialists, Trialists maybe, nevertheless staff they are. We still need to develop young men in the career of professional footballers, life goes on.

I did enquire on this thread for any information re Maghoma as I have been wondering if he has failed the no dickheads test, however, no meaningful reply. Huckenhull I can only assume is injured as I believe he cost money from Manchester United. I do wonder if the likes of KOC2 is on trial somewhere else as we are getting near to that time of the season. I must state that I have absolutely no knowledge, and like you I am enquiring.

Yes I understand that is a consideration, and I am out of the loop on employment regs etc, however, would that be legal? To furlough someone and then replace them with someone else who is cheaper? It is rather like making someone redundant, and immediately replacing them, I am sure that it cannot be done. In the grand scheme of things any money saved would be insignificant in anycase.

The list of "absent or strangely isn't getting game time" is growing by the week, I now make it Winterbottom, Crama, Hocks, Kouts, O'Connor, Maghoma, Gilbz (he did play internationally last week though) and Haygarth. Being the skipper, why Shepperd doesn't always play when available is strange, unless training serves him better after his long spell out.

I've advocated this, anything to try and mix things up. Like some say, Lachlan Brook is also in form.

WE are trying out a lot of young British kids who have been playing in senior non-league at an early age a la Trevitt and Stevens. Hopefully a few more nuggets emerge as we try to find a new talent pipeline.

I suspect the Americas and the Antipodes will be somewhere we would look at a bit more closely.

Robb and Trevitt both looking very good so hopefully we can unearth a few more.. Stevens is really progressing and could well challenge for first team squad next season despite his young age.

Maghoma suffered a relapse of the injury that kept him out of the start of the season I’m sure I saw him post on Instagram a while back.

Seeing the Highlights quite an impressive display by Bidstrup , would really like to get First Team minutes
Yep . I just watched , he's got what we are missing in the first team , energy , drive , creativity and can run with the ball .I wonder if he's quite ready ?

Some great play there until all the triallists came on. I am still not understanding why we have so many triallists or have we about 10 injured B teamers like Haygarth as otherwise when do ourt current B team get minutes? I saw Adams has returned back as well.

He was on the bench v Birmingham so he is that much ready. Use him. He is effectively unknown to opponents.

Ah that's good! Well not good that he is injured, but, good that he is still with us as he looked to me if he has so much more to give. He is one that I believe to go all the way to the first team, and maybe beyond. I wish him well.

We have got about 10 injured B teamers!!

Also, we're at that point in the season where decisions are made on those staying going so a couple will no doubt be looking for new clubs.

Oh, and I think at the moment because non-league football is suspended we're taking the opportunity to get a look at as many young prospects as we can..

We have to use your last point for the next rough diamonds as Brexit has stopped the signing of those from Europe because of EU/EFL restrictions. Forget the lads name but we can sign Australian players and those from non EU countries

I don't get that. Surely there's no difference now between signing players from EU and those from non-EU? I think Brook had a senior international cap which probably helped his VISA application.

I believe the restrictions have been created by the UK Home Office in consultation with the FA, representing the Premier League and the Football League, and the new rules cover all overseas players.
