Just to throw it out there - for anyone who's on month to month subscriptions you may have yours stopped for the clash on Sunday due to the new system coming in.

If you have this situation, please DM me with your account info and your current expiration date and I will get you sorted out! :sorted:

Worth noting that once we get to the weekend I won't be able to fix it very easily if at all, so check now!! :bound:

When BeesWorld became BeesPlayer, we lost all the archived highlights etc.

Is the same thing going to happen when BeesPlayer is made redundant?

I lost Beesplayer a couple of weeks ago I pay by direct debit so assumed it would just be renewed , not so, so I emailed the club and they put me in touch with player HD support who helpfully replied with how to get it back by clicking on new user .
That didn't work most recent reply says that that option is unavailable due to changes in the clubs online media services.
Probably missed what's changing but how and when can I get back on ? The club didn't seem to know !
Not too bothered for the next month or so but want it back by the time all our new signings get interviewed !🤣

Ah! As I posted above there would be a few people affected but I could get Player to manually trigger accounts from before the weekend. Sorry! :(

As for the rest, we'll send out the info you need shortly :sorted:

Have I read on here we will be changing platform for commentary next year? If so should we be cancelling subs? And if that is so how do you cancel? There doesn't seem to be option on site? Sorry too many questions in one post.

All in the Ts and Cs

To cancel your subscription please email player.support@streamamg.com with your cancellation request.

Please be advised that 10 working days' notice is required for cancellation on this product, cancellation within this period may result in your being charged for the next period.
Or just cancel your direct debit if you pay monthly.

Does anyone know if bees player will stream live games to those living abroad next season? If they are not offering this on the club platform then I guess that will be bees player cancelled. Shame really but why would you need the radio if all matches are going to be streamed live for a hundred quid? End of an era stuff will be sad to see it go as I really enjoyed the commentary.

Bees Player is no more, and we have switched to the new iFollow system which the EFL announced last week. So, in short, yes :sorted:

Any chance of a 'show boat' compilation of the season?

I saw an announcement (can't find it now) that yearly subscribers paying by direct debit will no longer have automatic payment made to the new system, but will have to set up a new one with iFollow, am I on the right track, or have I suffered a very senior moment?

If you login on the 12th I think you'll be able to resubscribe through that with your current account, I'll double check that :sorted:

How long is the 7 day free trial going to be around for? It would be good if it was around for the first month if the season - I don't want to spend $185 for a live stream which hangs and cuts out every 2 mins...

What's the name of that type of deal? "Pay nothing, get a further 300% free"? Doesn't have the same ring as BOGOF. Certainly not for the vendor anyway. ;)

Well there is not much point of having a 7 day free trial now when there are no live games to test it on! :) - Maybe they should have the first game "free" - but then about 500 overseas people will log in and freeze it anyway lol

That's fine, but do I have to set up a new direct debit with iFollow, or is it a seamless transition where I do nothing?

You have to set up a new dd if you paid annually before, but only on renewal. At a new price no doubt. :(

I'm sure that, as they have your current details, when it comes to revenue they will be on to you in a flash if changes are needed. I'm relaxed.

Its up to £110 now though.
Only for the Premium Package which gives you access to watch matches (Only available to fans abroad). It'll remain at £45 otherwise I believe :sorted:

Can we have an Ultra Premium package for fans who live over 100 miles from GP. Perhaps for the same price as a season ticket? Let's just ignore any FA rules that might apply!!! 😀

So will the new streaming service for overseas viewers block proxy servers? Asking for a friend....

Maybe it might require you to pay from an overseas bank account or a foreign card

you would think so, but it depends how much they've invested in such technology (he says, cluelessly). the BBC (sadly) seem to have finally worked it out - can't seem to get on there easily any more

So are you saying that Markybee and Marcus, or whoever, will not be doing the commentary? Because that would be sh*t. I want to feel like I'm at Griffin Park with like-minded people, not just watching one of my many hooky feeds to the UK. My subscription 'offer' (140 USD) says 'live audio commentary'. So is that going to work for those occasions when I can't sit in front of a screen?

The offer page says, 'Watch matches live in high definition*', then further down it says, 'Blacked out games not broadcast live'. How many games are realistically going to be 'blacked out'? Ones where we're on the actual telly? That's what it sounds like in the t&c's.

I have to say that I'm slightly nervous about paying all the money up front, too. Half the time there's a crap service with an audio feed, so the chances that we'll suddenly leap into a brave new world of HD live transmission seem remote.

There are no plans to remove Mark and Marcus at all - we are simply switching from 'Player' to 'iFollow'. Everything else should remain the same, but we are going to use the summer to work out exactly the formats.

Should we open a thread for showboat suggestions to go in the compilation?

Good to hear. The least technological part of the service - the human voice of informed fellow fans - is the most important, to me at least :). And I didn't mean to suggest that Beesplayer was crap, far from it - I know that everyone at Brentford must be as frustrated as we are when the technology fails. Here's hoping that iFollow know where to hit it with a hammer.
