i'm with ritchbee about the idea of bringing ivar back on loan
from wolves

ivar loves brentford and wally rates ivar as the best professional he's ever worked with

he would bring energy, strength and consistency to our young side
which from ivar's point of view would surely beat languishing
in wolves reserves

wolves might well like the idea also

over to you wally, why not ask david jones?

err Amsterdam.....
Ivar (and Gavin Mahon. But I like to keep that quiet) have been my favourite players over recent years (Hermen excepted of course).

but I can't believe he would ever come back. Would he?

Toddington, Beds but thankfully far enough away fr
Why not ?

A 3 month loan like Tony's could suit Wolves although as we all know wages are going to be a problem.

But unless you TALK to the club and try and come to some arrangement with them again this would be in the short term.

'Don't ask you don't get'

Surley 1st team with us is better than kicking around in the their reserves.

At least he'd be more in the shop window for other clubs.

Ivar was/is a class act and would bring some welcome stability and experience to the side but I fear he is well out of price range.
However like you say....dont ask, dont get.

Ivar would be a fantastic loan signing, but I'm not sure Wolves will be willing to pay most of his wages for him to play here.

Putting him into our back 4/5 would increase the quality by some way.

I'd also think he'd want to play Div 1 if he was going to leave the Premiership.

He has international asperations and it will not look good to fall back to 2nd div football. If he went on loan I am SURE that he (or his agent) would insist that it be to a 1st div side. Further, Wolves would expect a lot of help financially if we took him on loan, which we couldn't do. Further, Wolves wouldn't want big, toothless 2nd div psychos kicking their investment and would release him no lower than the 1st div.

Better to go back to wishing for Gibbo's return.
