Now on sky tv

The latest games chosen for live broadcast have been announced. Sky Sports, the EFL's broadcast partner, have selected matches up to the weekend of Saturday 3 March. Two of Brentford's upcoming games will be shown live on TV.

The twice-rearranged game against Bristol City has been moved again for broadcast on Sky Sports. The sides were due to meet on Saturday, 2 January and then on Tuesday 13 January but neither game was able to take place. The fixture was then scheduled for Tuesday 2 February but will now take place on Wednesday 3 February. It will be shown live and will kick-off at 7.45pm.

May be incorrect but I don’t believe the club has updated where sth’s stand for games in February?
They have by virtue of saying the offer ends at the end of January.

This is unusual
I dont remember many games where Sky did not select the match originally only to select the re scheduled match

It must be due to it being a full PL midweek with all 10 matches on BT Sport

Massive, massive game this one. I know they all are etc etc, but to go second when it's just us playing and all the other teams are watching would be a psychologically big step.

Master of the understatement, I know.

and we know what used to happen in those situations! 🙈

But this is a new resilient Brentford team full of confidence and we mustn’t forget our performances vs Watford, Bournemouth & Swansea .. we are good enough to go toe to toe with anyone 👍🏼

If you are concerned about our defending from wide set pieces, I am reliably informed that Bristol City haven't won a corner in three and a half hours of football.

Your comment reminds me of one of my earliest memories watching the Bees. A Monday night in 1979 against Sheff UTD and we played alone and if we won went 2nd, I think they were top, not sure. It was a crazy night but unfortunately we lost 2-1. Things will be different this time, both the result and the atmosphere.

Rest Dalsgaard ahead of M'boro on weekend as they're more physical.

Errrrm. Did anybody in the team? Reminded me of Akinde for them about 15 years ago. 3-3 draw and I think he got a hat trick. No one could touch him. Signed for us and was then crap!
The opposite of what happens now, with some players that leave.

Brilliant for us, crap when they go.

A goal kick from Harrow Borough FC
Henrik didn't cope very well with Wycombe's physicality!
I’m surprised more wasn’t mentioned of the wind at the weekend. You could hear it across the mikes throughout the game. WW managed to draw the first half with the wind behind them, then were blown away second half when we had the advantage.
‘Normal’ weather expected tonight.

I thought that Frozen Season Ticket holders had access to IFollow for match tonight but BFC have just advised me:

"tonight’s match against Bristol City is live on Sky Sports. Due to broadcasting rights this is not part of the applicable matches available to you."

Have I misunderstood the recent extended offer from the Club?

If you are a frozen season ticket holder them yes you should have access.
It is not available to purchase ad hoc on ifollow.

Can I asked who has advised you?

Thanks I will follow this up, can you reply and say that you understand this is included in the VIP package for frozen season ticket holders and copy in feedback@bias.org.uk
Brentford have confirmed on their website today that the game is available on iFollow to season ticket holders who have frozen their season tickets.

Alf Grey.

All those that think they have seen a bad ref will never understand what happened that night.

Two of around 100 incidents stick out in my mind the most.

Jim Mcnichol seeing Sheff Unt playing the offiside trap runs from CB, chips the ball over the whole defence and goes through one on one. A moment of pure genius, it was wonderful. Lino doesn’t flag obviously but Grey blows and gives offside against Mcnichol who had passed to himself.

Injury time, dodgy penalty to SU, a brilliant save and he makes them retake it and they score to win 2.1.

Tonight will be different, we are the top dogs now.

Thank you

I did email them again and will let you know - if/when - I get a reply!
Have you checked your account? Their incorrect reply is irrelevant if your account has access and you are good to go tonight

We have a 94 year old lady in our care home. She loves her football and has had Sky installed in her room recently. As we have been on tv so much lately she now follows our matches! .. she has just got over Covid and today was the first time I have been able to see her as she has been in isolation. I told her we are on again tonight and she’s really looking forward to it!

Good point. Think it was no coincidence that Wycombe were nowhere near as effective second half.

REALLY? F*** sake. Been looking forward to this all week. Got the beers in and everything.
Try hesgoal, cric or reddit. You can usually come up with something. I haven't missed a match yet and still haven't paid Rupert Murdoch a penny.

If Rupert's car looks like it's getting on a bit, I suspect that's down to the two of us then because I haven't given him a penny either. I watch Sky games via a company called Jellicoe Sports, named after the road it is in. Well, it's my mate's house actually. I pay him a subscription of a ten pack of Strongbow Dark Fruits with a booster pack mid-season, to have my computer as one of the named devices on his Sky Go. The boosters were originally every 12 weeks, but I've found that twice a season doesn't decrease efficacy and is actually a boost to my economy.

Pretty certain Rupert sold all interest in Sky a couple of years back.

Yes Sky is owned by Comcast - US company - RM sold up 3 years ago
Yes, because his planned Fox buy out was snuffed by the competition committee
