Well this is the set of fixtures that gets us to the halfway point of the season. Well for most of the teams....

This could be a defining set of fixtures given that there are a number of tricky clashes happening. The Swansea v Watford top six clash is the standout fixture with anything but a Swansea win being a great outcome, but, as usual 0-0 draws between the top teams are the optimal outcome.

Norwich take on 8th place Barnsley, who are no mugs. Bournemouth go to 7th place Stoke who will be hoping to complete a 50% win rate against the top 6 and move in to the play-off spots themselves. Meanwhile, Reading travel to Huddersfield who have already beaten Watford and Swansea.

Whisper it quietly, but a win for us could take us top.

Hate playing bristol city at home, not because theyre good but they always seem to score late undeserved goals and nick points off us in recent years. Last year was abit of a sickener, think thomas made some questionable subs iirc abit like blackburn a few games ago and we ended up throwing away what should have been a win. We are in a real good spot though so hopefully we will put them away.

Cant see barnsley beating norwich but if qpr can get a point there then anyone can!

Swansea vs watford is a nailed on draw i reckon! Lump on

Indeed. There's needs to be an agreed International Standard for form tables!

Barnsley are top of the current form table based over the last six games with 15 points out of 18.
Fair play to them, obviously terrific form but they couldnt have picked a better 6 games really, not to take away from them but norwich will be a much bigger test

Five wins out of 6 and a goal difference of 3 tells its own story!

Yes, that's what it's for.

Norwich look as though they are under the cosh too.

Coventry 2 up at Millwall, hadn't realised how low The Lions had sunk.

Middlesbrough turn it around and now lead 2-1 at Wycombe.

Buendia could be the difference; if Norwich keep hold of him I fear we are playing for the other automatic spot

Well, not great as Norwich, Reading, Boro and Swansea all won. But there are compensations in that Watford and Barnsley both lost. I would like Stoke and Bournemouth to draw now and that won't be too bad, though obviously could have been much better.

Just starting the second half of the season and there's now 13 points between 10th and top. We just need to keep on going as more will drop out than make a late charge.

All going well for us about 60. — 70 mins of the game time. Then went a bit pear shape

What are the compensations in Barnsley losing (therefore Norwich winning)?
