Shame about Norwich/Watford results but good about Reading/Bournemouth, a win tomorrow puts us 12 points above Reading, 14 above Bournemouth and 20 (twenty) clear of Cardiff in 7th!

Bizarre from Lee Hendrie - Norwich best team and Swansea been consistent with no mention of us 🤪
He did say we've got a great side, but that Norwich were the best in the Championship.

Top 2 is well within reach but whilst we're more than capable of beating every team in this league, this years play offs are looking like a minefield. Watford had a blip but they're a fantastic team as are B'mouth, I think both those teams will get themselves together and finish very strongly.

Texting one of my sons earlier we both said “ it’s in our own hands “ so Thomas , Brian, Kevin plus the goal keeping coach just make sure the boys know this and we are with them in mind if not body

Can’t agree with that, both average at best in my opinion.

There’s 18 games to go Del, probably a bit too soon to be worrying about other teams results.

Only Swansea out of the top 6 have beaten Millwall.

Do we think Wartford might have noticed what can happen when King Troy isn’t on the pitch? Hope not.
my Watford mate put a message in our group
Chat before the game - he was absolutely ecstatic that Deeney and Gray were not starting. And look what happens.

he has got a bit giddy and is talking top 2 again.

so I’ve muted the chat.

Watford v Bristol City - I don't actually think they played very well despite the scoreline. Their fans believe they should be top 2 this season regardless of evidence, so are happy to enjoy whatever fits with that hypothesis. (I know another giddy Watford fan who has been in touch)

Several goals gift wrapped by Bristol City errors. I read one of their fans saying "this could be ten if they actually made their own chances instead of us giving them all to them"
The first took a deflection and hit the post/bar before being chested in on the line. Will Hughes's goal also took a huge deflection. The sixth goal on a 3 on 2 counter late on looked a yard offside for what it's worth!
Of course they deserved a win when it's 6-0 win (against a team that have now lost 7 away games in a row) and clearly they have some good players. I'm happy for them to believe their goal scoring problems are solved before they revert to drawing 0-0 against competent defences - so I'm with kewbee for now.

Both had blips, B'mouth's worse than Watford but those two squads are capable of going on a long winning run. Watford will be eyeing us now after today, only 6 points!
