Wonder if a long ban for Casillas will disrupt their season given the relative youth and inexperience of the two understudies in their squad. Looks like Meslier was taken on loan as cover for Miazek who was promoted after Peacock-Farrell left in the summer. Guess we'll find out in the coming weeks.

Could be irrelevant given how rarely opponents threaten them given their relative quality on the ball.

Did his appearance add 1000 to the public gallery?

For the avoidance of doubt, he’s a dirty ****ing nonce.

Proper noncery that mate!
The mitigation is unbelievable "He said ‘it was totally unacceptable and, I have to say for the record, I did not know she was a kid.”"

On this basis, exposing yourself in public to someone above the age of consent is acceptable is it?

Wonder if the police could tack on some driving offences for good measure?

He’d probably get a tougher punishment for the driving offences.

To be honest I’m surprised that they were aware he was having a hand shandy...his gut hanging over it must have obscured the view pretty well...

Must have looked like he was imitating the truffle shuffle furiously..,.lol

Ex-Spurs football Steffen Iversen declared bankrupt in Norwegian court. Looks like his agent is blaming UK divorce law for his client's pecuniary losses.

All on the newsanyway.com site.

Just reading the linked mirror article in that

"Former Southport defender Mike Phenix is believed to be the last positive case after testing positive for cocaine in September 2018 and his four-year ban was only announced in May 2019 ."

"Saido Berahino was given an eight-week drugs ban in 2017 for testing positive for recreational drugs."

I think Phenix can consider himself a bit hard done by there!

If he had a poor disciplinary record prior to the cocaine offence could that have affected the length of ban?

Sacked before convicted?
Surprised the PFA haven’t been all over this. Innocent until proven etc etc.
Nothing to stop an employer taking disciplinary action before any court case provided they have followed their procedures.
