But he was right to one side, so if Toney had hit the target on the right of the goal, there was no way Samba would have got to it. Poor execution, but a good idea.

Reasonable first half. Should have put forest to bed by now but we've been sloppy at the back clearing our lines and also sloppy going forward, Toney in particular wasting a couple of very good counter attacks. His attempted lob was criminal when he had Mbeumo and Marcondes making runs into space either side of him. Mbeumo so unlucky not to score as was Toney with a fantastic half volley. Great goal from Dalsgaard though he's looked a bit ropey defensively so far. Ref is not helping the game flow though giving free kicks for every little challenge. We've got enough to finish this game off but need to concentrate and come out with a bit of tempo and intent second half. If we can get an early goal I can't see them coming back

Yes. It was nothing to do with Forest upping their game. We did indeed just get a bit sloppy.

I really am not convinced by him at all. I want him to do well but he never beats his man, always gets brushed off easily amd doesn’t do much else. Not physically strong enough for this level.
