The first reply is the most telling one. Always good to undermine your manager in public.
Yes. Plus, not sure what it says to the strikers already on your books that you publicly announce you were desperately trying to bring in another player, and go as far to the name them as someone that plays for your local rivals in the league below.

Also, if they are legit under FFP pressure, considering the sizeable PL TV revenues, to the point where they couldn’t afford Toney - someone they were ‘desperate’ for - then they must have seriously mishandled their finances somewhere along the line.

They’d had to shell out £10m for Knockaert. Let that sink in for a moment before laughing yourself a prolapse!

They are paying a huge Chelsea loan fee for Loftus Cheek and paid huge sums of money for Knockaert and Cavaleiro ... quite funny tbh

Tony Khan has replied, what a muppet. God we are so lucky to have Benham, Giles and Ankersen.
haha "i was the one who brought him up(toney) in meetings, not the manager" ...desperation

Agreed, seems petty. He wouldn't have commented at all if Darragh had just posted 'Fulham were interested', it was the fact that he indicated that Parker was the one who wanted him that meant Tony had to come out to claim credit (for something they didn't do...)

A bit bizarre, but Tony should realise there are many Chairman who now feel a bit silly for not taking a chance on Toney at £6m.

I saw this on Wednesday night - sometimes silence is the best form of communication. No idea what Tony Khan thought he would achieve by this intervention. Makes it all more pleasing that Fulham (may have been) keen but we signed Toney.
Khan does have previous.
He slagged off the team after a game with Villa.

Great to watch from the outside.

Parker responded in kind in his Press Conference

“Firstly, I would never want to comment on another player who was at another club so I’m not going to do that.

“I also wouldn’t want to comment on how we go about our decisions as an organisation, in terms of what takes place.

“I took over two years ago and the club was in a little bit of a mess in that sense.

“My soul purpose at that moment was to bring some pride back into the club while also understanding that I want this to be an elite football club and an elite organisation.

“The standards I drive with my staff and players are exactly aiming to do that.

“Of course there are parts of that I can’t control. That’s why here now, two days before Everton, we’re talking about a Twitter post. At times, it’s frustrating.

“I think there is a good intention there. But it's something that I don't feel needs to happen.”

If he wasn't Fulham manager you'd feel sorry for him.

Everton 0-0 Fulham HT

Fulham’s goalkeeper sounds like a bit of a tit!

Burnley's equaliser in the week was beautiful - both covering defenders just giving up, one totally stopping to appeal for offside. muppets.

They are so much better than Newcastle and Brighton.

Must have ? We know exactly they’ve mishandled their finances for years. Spending beyond belief, like the Ra ras but maybe not as much.
If they hand the have gone up last season they’d be in massive trouble now.
Even as their parachute payments were coming to an end, they were spending big

They deserve to be in front too (I’m sorry to say ) but I think Parker should give his “Norman Wisdom” jacket a miss second half ! 😀
I just said to my wife that it is probably the worst jacket I have ever seen.
It’s a skin tight puffa/blazer effort.

Hurts me to say but they are playing very well.
When we go up and they go down i would love to nick Lookman. A class player. Perfect for us on the left if we have a spare 20 million and 60 grand a week.
