That's exactly what happened to me. I emailed but no response. What telephone number did you use? CheersI received my iFollow code to access the Cov C. match on Saturday and went into iFollow on the BFC site, but didn't reach a screen asking for the code and b4 I knew it I'd paid £10. I phoned EFL/iFollow and they refunded the £10. I now have access to iFollow. What elementary mistake I made I know not.
EFL - 01772 325829. They wanted the code issued to me by the club. That's exactly what happened to me. I emailed but no response. What telephone number did you use? Cheers
Can I confirm. You call this number, you give them a code, then they give you £10. Correct?EFL - 01772 325829. They wanted the code issued to me by the club.
As corrected above - I've just called efl - very helpful chap - gave details & he sorted & said to check my card/statement in 3-5 days max & the £10 CR should be thereCan I confirm. You call this number, you give them the Voucher Code & your email address, then they give you £10. Correct?

I never even considered ringing them. Just assumed I’d get the usual “Your call is important to us” followed by music, further unnecessary messages, etc before I’d give up.Another one here that paid the £10 before redeeming the free voucher. Very easy to do but thankfully straight through to the EFL on that phone above no. for a refund. Felt very 90's actually speaking to someone.
Cheers for the info - if I get no email from them by next week I'll give them a ringEFL - 01772 325829. They wanted the code issued to me by the club.
They give your £10 back but obviously not a credit. Can I confirm. You call this number, you give them a code, then they give you £10. Correct?

Could be a tidy little earner. Can I confirm. You call this number, you give them a code, then they give you £10. Correct?

Well no-one would be as bold to cash in their unused vouchers would they? Hopefully they will check that your account has been charged as claimed.Could be a tidy little earner.
I assume it's a refund via their payments system not a creditWell no-one would be as bold to cash in their unused vouchers would they? Hopefully they will check that your account has been charged as claimed.
A refund is just a reverse payment. The payment system doesn't cancel the original payment and there doesn't have to be an original payment. I know about these things...I assume it's a refund via their payments system not a credit
Do you work part time for the Fraud Squad? Can I confirm. You call this number, you give them a code, then they give you £10. Correct?

Oh okay, I'll have to assume that it is a well run e-commerce system with sufficient checks in place.A refund is just a reverse payment. The payment system doesn't cancel the original payment and there doesn't have to be an original payment. I know about these things...
EFL chap said the card I used would be refunded the £10, of course after he checked my email address against the free voucher code ie I was who I said I was & that my code was legitimate & that yes he could see £10 had been (inadvertently) paid - voila!I assume it's a refund via their payments system not a credit
I'm sure it's just a immaculate as the client facing implementation that we are subjected to.Oh okay, I'll have to assume that it is a well run e-commerce system with sufficient checks in place.
Yes. Same happened to me. Don't press 'use saved card' - as I did. I e-mailed them, with the code provided by the club, and the payment will be reversed 3-5 days. They seem to react positively if they have both your e-mail address & the code provided by the club.If anyone's bothered this also happened to me. Not sure what I did differently... I think I clicked "use saved card" and it took the £10 out before I'd put the code in.
Put the code in first, everyone![]()
OK.Sorted later. I think it was a PayPal thing. Can you post a screenshot please?
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago managed to 'chat' with ifollow they did seem to be able sort but logged in on my phone then when I went back on laptop transaction apperad in payment history and all was well.keep getting an' error has occurred please try again' message. not had this before.

Yep, for the Preston game I pressed the ‘use saved card’ as well before getting to the bit about entering the code and it immediately said thanks very much and the money was gone. No opportunity given to check details before buying. No ticking a T&C box, which I would have thought should be a necessity when buying something online. I emailed them but no response at all. I didn’t quote the club code, only the order reference number they sent me. Maybe that was my mistake and I should try again.Yes. Same happened to me. Don't press 'use saved card' - as I did. I had this as well... If it helps anyone. If you saved ifollow and are logged in you can't redeem your voucher code without the error message.keep getting an' error has occurred please try again' message. not had this before.
I did the same, emailed them with the match code and they replied the same day to confirm will be refunded to my account within 3-5 daysYep, for the Preston game I pressed the ‘use saved card’ as well before getting to the bit about entering the code and it immediately said thanks very much and the money was gone. The site seems designed to trap the unwary.

Quick update. The payment was refunded immediately to my credit card. So the lesson seems to be don't press anything suggesting the use of stored credit card details when 'buying' the 'free' match but, should you do so accidentally, e-mail iFollow straightaway with the match code provided by the club.Yes. You should have done that on MONDAY when the codes came out, not 15 mins before the matchCarefully followed procedures but cd not not enter my voucher as kept getting" there was an error" so ended up having to pay £10
When will IFollow sort this problem out?
