All I can add to this thread is that Wiki reckons he's 5'2''.

PS....he's a very decent player who plays in those critical half spaces in the final 3rd.
I would have thought that we had enough of those, it is Box to Box that we require to take the weight from Josh Dasilva.

#QPR's Ilias Chair is being monitored by 'four' of the Championship's current top-six

Brentford are in the running, alongside Bournemouth, Reading and Watford

#BrentfordFC #readingfc #RFC #AFCB #watfordfc

This one made me sit down and take note.

He tends to "sit-in".
All joking aside, he looked very sharp when we played them.

I though that's what Baptiste was supposed to be? Maybe next season!

I hear QPR are shipping him out as their players are all stools and a chair doesn’t fit in. 💩

There's some bloke calling himself 'Tomcat 75' who's started posting on Loft For Words, who confidently claims to be ITK. He said the other day that Bees were one of 3 or 4(?) Championship clubs who were offering £2m for Chair, but QPR are/were holding out for £3m.

He then posted this "update" an hour ago:

"were going to accept 3 million for him

because ive been told were being thrown a sweetner

forward Emiliano Marcondes coming to us on loan with view of perm transfer

no more said"

As with 90% of self-proclaimed "ITK's", it's probably bs, but he has posted some credibly-sounding other stuff which doesn't look too far off the mark (grammar and spelling notwithstanding).

From what I’ve seen of him I’m not sure he would pass the no dickhead policy.
Also I’m struggling to see whose position he would take.

I'd rather keep Marcondes tbh.

How exactly would they sell that move to Marcondes? They don't even pay more than us anymore.

... and we've now got Žambůrek back, who knows what we expect and we know he can deliver.

I'd have thought a move to QPR would be slightly less attractive to him than incurring cruciate ligament injuries to both knees at the same time. So the only way to sell it would be to have "Big Vern" standing by with a baseball bat.

Doesn't sound like a great deal! Certainly not for Emiliano!

From what I've seen of Chair, he looks a really decent player, it's amazing how peoples views on players are so far apart, when some would rather keep Marcondes. I'm still wondering what he offers and has a knack of disappearing in games, just my view of course.

I’d like to hope we’d “castor” net wider than Shepherds Bush for new players.
