Except the Cup doesn't operate on a calendar year. It is the 2019/20 Scottish Cup, and season 2019/20 has already finished.
...is that right....well in that case can you phone up Parkhead and tell them the bad news....that the Scottish FA Cup doesnt count as the 19/20 season has finished....so therefore the quadruple treble cant be won on the 20th of December
.....oh and BTW.....let us know what their reply is

Which is why the winners of the Scottish Cup for 2019/20 didn't/won't qualify for the Europa League this season (2020/21).
Instead Scotland's 3rd EL place went to Aberdeen i.e. the club which finished 4th in the 2019/20 SPL.
.....interesting....so if they win Scottish Cup....the quadruple treble wouldnt be valid

All I do know is that the 2019/20 Scottish Cup Semi-Finals and Final will have been played in season 2020/21.
And tbh I don't care very much about that either, when it comes to it.
Might make a useful quiz question in years to come, mind.

Fully deserved victory after the performance over 90 mins.
...
yep....players you mention are good...the rest are grafters....we won't beat you lot in June....but those players in the current side won't turn over easily....Steve Clarke was an underrated player and likewise manager....Scotland have a steely resolve....it means a lot to those of us jocks in our 50's....never thought we'd see the likes again

Analysis on ITV last night. Marshall’s starting point is just behind the goal line, so even if he goes a fraction early, there’s a chance he’s not gone forward. Quite clever really. He also said he’d studied Mitrovic’s penalties. Always (!) goes central or to keeper’s left. Chose correctly last night...

I think it’s a mixture of celebration and relief. First Jocks to get to a Finals in 22 years. The monkeys can be put back in Edinburgh Zoo, etc.
Some decent Scots players never made it since the last century. Comparisons with their last (fleeting) appearance await...
Really pleased they're are at last enforcing the stay on your line rule, so many crucial 'saves' were illegal in the past. After a period of sulking when saves were ruled out goalkeepers have worked out how to stay legal and still make saves.
