This is a fantastic move from the club and one which deserves its own thread. I know a lot of people - myself included - are pretty indifferent about watching the games via a stream but hopefully this gives an extra incentive to sign up for this one

Agreed Guildford. I was 50:50 about getting this but I definitely will subscribe now.

Great cause for one of our own. Well done BFC

Excellent gesture from the club.

I would have purchased in any event but hopefully this will now push Jamie close to the line foe his fundraising.

Well done BFC

Good work BFC!! :)
Out of interest, and not necessarily directed related to this thread, has it ever been confirmed how much each club (home and away) gets from the sale of a £10:00 iFollow pass, and how much goes to iFollow?

Per EFL : "Get an iFollow match pass .... for £10.00 .... with at least 80% of iFollow net revenues going straight to your club"

NB: the actual cost is £8.33 + VAT, so working on the "at least 80%" = £6.66 per pass to BFC

Or, one could donate straight to the Just Giving page, where the donation options are £20, £30, £40, £50 & £100 & you must add at least a 5% contribution to JG for their service as they take nothing from the donation to the charity/crowd-funding (Katrina Powell)

No, it's an away match so that doesn't all go to BFC.

Thank you.
Yeah, as hobbsy says, this one is an away game.
I'm sure I'd seen somewhere a breakdown of how much goes to the home team and how much goes to the away team.

I was not going to watch this match but now I will just for the pleasure of seeing £ABCD being paid to the fund from BFC.

I have also paid some money direct to the fund.

A bit more on how money's raised from sale of iFollow passes are distributed (from Tranmere site):

"For home League games, the Club receives 70% of the subscription fee with the rest going to pay for the service. For home cup games, the net money is split between both Clubs.

For away League games, the home Club keeps the money from the first 500 away supporters but anything over this number is paid to the away Club."

.

Not sure whether WW have made a comment on whether this is still the case for Saturday's game?

Yes the rules are the same across the board. So we need more than 500 to subscribe.

Just wondered if WW had said whether they would waive the 'first 500 away subscribers' income part of this, due to the commitment made by BFC?

I am not going to judge them if they don't. As a club who didn't expect to be here not having fans able to attend in what might be their one season at this level for a long time will leave them well down on what they could have expected to bring in this year

Agree completely.

If as a club we cannot get 500 subscribers for this game then us supporters should be ashamed of ourselves.

Even though I probably will not be able to watch I have subscribed,

I am the same. Wouldn't normally pay for a Saturday away game but have for this one as it's in a good cause (and maybe 'cos the international break has meant that I've missed my 'Brentford fix'). I received the same email however looking at my ifollow 'Subscribe' tab I can now see this -->

So looks like all is well and in place

Posted elsewhere on the grapevine but as we don't want a drum at the ground we should bang it here.....
"So for every BU member who buys a video or audio iFollow match pass for the game BU will donate a further two pounds to Jamie’s fund. You won't need to tell us if you’ve done it or plan to do it, we have worked out a way the club can tell us from the data how many of our members have subscribed*. On Monday we will then send the money to the fund."

Unfortunately not, all you can do is pause it when it starts.

I've made donations and , following a reasonable Ifollow reception for the Middlesbro game I fully expected to buy this through the club. I've had no notification and there's nothing about this game on my app. Will it still be attributed to the club if I purchase it? Still seems piss poor tbh.

Windows Key + G

You can record any window. Do a test run first. Doesn't record sound though, but will record via the mic if you choose that option

More than £20k raised and donated by the club from iFollow sales for WW game!!!
Fantastic effort!!!!
Back of fag packet maths gives an estimate of about 3,000 Bees signing up for this game....
2,500 x £8:00
(Revenue from first 500 away sales goes to home club).

£20000 would mean that BFC received income from 2,400 fans (£8.33 each + VAT)
IIRC income from the first 500 goes to the home club

So, yes, over 2,900 sign-ups.

Or does the 5% vat rate apply to I follow also??
