Norwich are a quality team. Providing we don't treat them like Leeds and stick with the way we want to play , 4-0. Toney gets his 100th goal. Canós , Ghoddos and Mbeumo

0-10.

I’m full of gloom (and strong whiskey).
Ok. The effect of the whiskey (Jameson, for those who are interested) has now worn off and I have a clear head this morning. The gloom has lifted too.

I think we’ll recover from yesterday, which was another ‘one off’. I’m not one who’s against 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 in itself but I believe you need the right players who can carry it out. Yesterday we didn’t.

Norwich will be a tough one but if we revert to 4 at the back and try to play with our usual attacking flair, we can win it. Even with 4 at the back, I think we’ll concede more goals this season than last, so I expect Norwich to score. But we’ll score more.

2-1 Bees

Following the shambles of yesterday, I think/hope that we will bounce back with a narrow win against a decent Norwich outfit. 2-1 to the Bees.

They struggled to beat Wycombe yesterday. However, our CBs need to be aware of Pukki who positions himself between CBs and is a good championship striker. I think this will be a tight game, 1-1.

1-2. I think this will be one of those 'low points' in the season, that makes us take stock slightly. I then think we'll go on a good run afterwards and be in a good position in a month/month and a half or so.

Norwich are good though, and are one of a few teams (us included) who haven't hit their full rhythm yet. Tomorrow could go either way though and neither team winning would surprise me.

I know it’s not the correct thread, but sometime last season people put up the info and a way to access Sky Red Button by a SKY App , does anyone remember how

The auto fill calendar thing, to get the fixtures in your home online calendar, shows it as Griffin Park still 😢 oh well there’s worse things in the world

I don't know why people are talking up Norwich quite so much. They are nothing special and have ground out a few results. They've lost at home to Derby and needed injury time to overcome mighty Wycombe at home on Saturday.

If we play our normal game and normal formation, we really should win this, as long as our defence concentrate on what they are doing. They should be more worried about our goal threat than we should about them.

Going to be a tough one, but we do normally play better against the better sides.

That didn't sound right.

Bees 2-1 Birds

Toney, with his 100th and Forss with a late winner off the bench.

Bees 4 v Norwich 3.
Forrs x2
Tony x 2

Attendance (non covid) would have been 16, 432.
I think following on from Covid (let's just say it all disappears tomorrow) we'd get a crowd of 17,000 for this one, people will be desperate for live football again.

This game defines where we are right now. We could blow them away, we play our game with the right formation and I could see us winning 3-1. If we put in a disjointed performance, full of poor passes and a lack of energy it could go the other way. We're at this point right now where we're not sure which Brentford is going to turn up. Incredibly hard to call this one.

Tricky one. We're 9 points off the leader and although it's early days we don't want to have to start playing catch up. Norwich are a top side and likely to go straight back up so maybe a draw would be a good result ? 1-1

Mate, I will do it next to you. And then I will donate my house to any charity.

As I said in another thread, thank god its them and not watford, Bmouth or Norwich pushing on. Reading are irrelevant and its not a case of catching them, it is a case of letting them fade away. I know about 20 Reading fans who I see regularly when playing football or at work and they all think they have already used up their whole seasons luck, they are loving it but they know they are rubbish.

They spawned their way into the play-offs under Stam when I think they were genuinely one of the worst teams in the division. Hopefully they want do it again.

Reading this may be the first time, since they shut in March, I haven’t longed to be back in a pub as normal.

It's a long season. It's a very weird season. There's going to be odd results all over the shop.

2 teams who will be in the fight for the top 2 positions come the end of the season... will both cancel each other out until 90+4 when Charlie Goode heads home a Canos cross to silence the doubters. Bees 1-0 Norwich.

Tough game, 1-1. 3.45am start in Philippines is a toughie. At least the bars are not open so can watch it with both eyes open.
