Just makes it a tough watch and you just dont know if she actually knows her stuff or is joking around.

I wasn't a fan of her on Football on Five (although that was largely because she was given a redundant role), but felt The Totally Football League Show podcast allowed her to breathe in her own skin a bit more and she suited the slightly more relaxed environment. I have no problem with her presenting the Sky football, although I wouldn't put her as my favourite presenter either...

How bad was the SKY commentary tonight?!?!?!? So Spurs biased. Made out like they were all over us all game.
Hinchcliffe really doesnt like us. i thought he had a soft spot for us but pretty much every game he talks us down and is a negative ****.

Commentators on Sky tonight favoured bigger team so much and vilified Josh . The only reason they do this must be it gets them more work as it can’t be that they are demonstrating their knowledge of the game. In the after match interviews anyone who expressed an opinion said yes it was a red card but it was an unfortunate accident

Should’ve had it tuned to Radio London. Messrs. Phil Parry, Billy Reeves and Paul Mortimer were quite embarrassingly Beessided. I thought I was back on Ealing Rd.!

Shocking commentary tonight - if you hadnt watched the game you'd have thought they had 80% possession and 25 shots instead if it being pretty even..
I tend to turn the sound down now when watching any game on TV (except Bees on ifollow) the commentary has got so bad now. Its cliche driven rubbish the whole time and OTT fawning of the big clubs especially the Manchester two and Liverpool. As for pre and post match punditry I just don't bother with any of it.

Spot on the commentators were appalling. Bill Leslie & Andy Hinchcliffe almost exploded every time Son or Kane managed to string two passes together. Whenever we did enjoy a period of play they were too busy eulogising about Jose and Co. they didn't even notice. The studio guys were okay and Sam Saunders showed off a lovely fake tan and gave a decent summary of the game - with the slightest hint of a Bees bias......

They gave the impression that the Premier League is the only football and Brentford arrived from Mars. They'd been given a cheat sheet and that's all they knew. I only pay for and watch Sky in extremis but I'll use the iFollow audio next time as I did last time.

Those commentators fo EFL football all the time, so they know everything about us. I think the word 'fawning' is the best word I've seen describe them, but that is the case every game they do. Whoever is winning at 85 mins, out comes the fawning. Every game.

I thought the two main commentators were full of bad takes all game. Despite agreeing it was a red, I was getting pretty annoyed at the defamation of Josh DaSilva.
initially found it a bit odd that the focus was on spurs rather than the underdog making the final, but to be honest I get it. They’re the 8th richest club in the world and the commentators and pundits are playing to their fan base, and it’s the narrative most people are following the game for.

I dont have Sky. Tonight I bought a one day package to view the game. I could not believe how biased the commentary team were towards Spurs. Are they always like that towards Premiership teams?

As you know there is only one football league , that the Premiership. If your not in the league you do not count and don’t deserve to play against them. Just ask Mike Dean

Think it would have been fine to be of the opinion that it wasnt accidental but to make cheap digs and say thats why he isnt playing at the top level and attack him when its the first red card of a young mans career is just daft. Then again, it doesnt take much digging into his past to realise hes abit of a clown

The impression was Spurs were strolling and had us in their pocket. If that goal was allowed and we grabbed another they would have no shame in saying we bossed it. More paid clowns....

Another reason why I'm not too desperate to see us in the Premier League. Comments from "experts" like Sinclair, Savage and Sutton spouting drivel, usually just to provoke reactions and help their media careers, rather than fair and considered analysis.

Mentioned this on another thread yesterday, but now realise this one is probably more appropriate. Saw 2 reports of our game yesterday, in the Telegraph, and FLP. Both mentioned Neil MacFarlane as being our Assistant Manager, rather than as WE know, B team Head Coach. Assume their reports came from the Press Association, or some such outfit. The Telegraph, I would expect not to get their facts right about us, as they are very PL orientated, but the FLP cover us every week, so should know better!
