I can understand why opposition fans keep complaining about the Sky commentary harping on about us., It's virtually non-stop 😂
We are interesting. Rotherham are not. You have to be interesting to be media darlings. :sorted:

So many shoves and pushes going unpunished.

Rotherham have so far surprised me. They've looked very comfortable and well organised.

Unlike past Rotherham teams.

Desperately missing that spark. No one on the pitch is willing to take the man on and make space. Fosu has been crap, loose passes and just looks lost every time he gets the ball, I’m sorry but he’s no better than Canos. Who is wide left? Because Forss clearly doesn’t want to play there and drifts inside. There hasn’t been an occasion when one of the wide players is running at them.

They look like every Rotherham or any other northern 3rd division team I've ever seen. Ref needs to get busy with the cards or we'll never get a game of football.

Blimey. Dead poor. Obvious how they would play and we look surprised by it.

Quality on the ball needs to go up 2 or 3 notches.

Pretty even first half, not a lot to report.. Rotherham working very hard off the ball. We will need to go up a gear next half.

Dasilva and Janelt struggling with the typical Rotherham winter midweek away rough and tumble.

I like their right back. Can we have him?

An instantly forgettable half of football. Copy and paste from a number of other games. Not very creative, slow-paced, giving the ball away, etc. Despite that, we are well in it, as Rotherham aren't that good. Fingers crossed for a TF inspired change or two. Fosu showing he's not really up to standard, not even being able to master a throw in. I just wish our midfielders could run at the opposition like they used to!

It’s no good Moaning about Rotherham spoiling. They play to their strength as do a number of teams in this division and it’s up to us to break them down. The ref as been about right we r just not at it first half

Just totally sh*t game. Rotherham fouling constantly, we just hoof it.

fosu tries but really is lg1 at best.

On the odd occasion we get the ball to forss, Jenson, Bryan or JDS they find a new way to lose it, squander it, give it away or misplace it every time.

I don’t know what the i is, but we create absolutely zilch and all our chances are on the end of a lucky bounce or a long cross etc.

This is another really hard watch.

it’s like out midfield don’t trust the front three, they burst forward, stop, and go back 9 times out of 10 and we lose it in our own corner flag or hoof it to their defence again.

Nobody looks capable of creating something, a cheeky pass, a reverse slide pass, a quick one two, a dribble past a player. Not one player looks like they have an inch old quality tonight, nobody has any spark.

It's quite sad watching Bees play this season compared to the vigour and class of last season

Every time we play sh*t sides like Rotherham, they bring us down to their level.

These are the teams we would get whooped by last season.
I think people forget forest whooped us twice, Hudd got a win and a draw and Birmingham beat us at least once, i think the other might've been a draw.

Refs let fowling teams fowl without giving cards to repeat offenders and it costs us games. If it was punished we'd probably get promoted. sh*thouse teams get rewarded for sh*thousing.

Still had the best chance. It’s up to us to play through them and for 45 minutes not good enough

Pretty flat so far. We have no outlet ball at all - everything going into the forwards is just bouncing straight back. Forss needs to drop deeper or be replaced as it's not effective where he is at the moment. We need more creativity / finesse out wide and he doesn't give it to us and neither is Mbuemo on current form.

Rotherham are pressing us well, but it should suit us really, because it gives us the opportunity to pass it round them, which we're doing reasonably well with until the final third. Jenson is playing well, but having to cover a lot for Fosu who seems to be playing right back/right wing/centre mid, wherever the wind takes him.

Hope to see a change at HT, either formation or personnel or both...

Our passing is frustratingly negative at times. Pass into midfield and they seem to default pass it straight back to defence, even when not tightly marked. Try and turn and be more positive.

Isn’t it. I’m praying MB dips into whatever funds they have currently to buy an exciting left sided player who can galvanise our forward play. Saying that if only Pinnock would have got his head on that ball ......

A tough watch.
Although we’re clearly a team of better footballers we not bright enough to break down an opponent who is well organised and working very hard. Don’t find that spark and we deserve nothing.

Think he’s a bit slow mentally sometimes, holds onto the ball for too long, rarely passes quick enough or is aware of potential play around him. He’s capable of great skill, shooting and can gallop down the pitch but his awareness and speed of action can make his play a bit stale

Totally agree. Fair play to Rotherham they are doing what they need to do. Playing to their strengths, it’s our performance that’s the problem
