Why the surprise? He barely played for us this season, so is seriously short of game time and match sharpness. Also, he is not going to shine as brightly in training at a PL club with better players as he did here with Championship players.
I just hope we get the next £21m. It's all very well saying, 'yes, we get him back after the loan' if there is still a medical issue. But by then, we will have lost the use of a very influential player for a number of months and will only have £4m compensation for it. And the loss of that player could be the difference between top 2 or not.

Health issue. It might seem odd to some that he is not been shoe- horned into a team that, after a a pretty dull start against Newcastle, have been performing better than they’ve played for years. Moyes is a players manager- a work man. Why would he be rushed?

It also goes on to say we got £5m for the loan deal and we will receive another £12m if he passes a second medical required to make the deal permanent at the end of the season, as well as up to £8 in add ons if he signs a new deal at the London Stadium or is subsequently sold to another Premier League club.

Showed a couple of nice touches and control, wasted the opportunity to cause some danger in the very last knockings.
Done a couple of nice little megs which came off and that was really it. Didn't have enough time to make any impact - but his megs are still the biz!
In addition, he almost cost the Hammers a third Liverpool goal by conceding possession with one of those flicks.

As it’s only a loan with an obligation to buy if both sides agree that such obligation does not need to be taken up and Benrahma agrees to this with a new contract then it’s certainly a possibility although probably unlikely. Of course if he hardly plays for them and Moyes doesn’t fancy him then not impossible.

In summary then, Said comes on sets up a goal then teases Fulham with a penalty opportunity which he knows they will miss just to compound their humiliation. A perfect debut. Unfortunately for him, he won't play Fulham every week.

West Ham have lost 1 in 7, no manager would be changing that much and his most likely position is being filled by Fornals who is playing very well. I'm sure he's been around football long enough to understand that.
