Some big results tonight.

Ross County beat Celtic 1-0.

Monaco currently 2-0 up at PSG.

King hell! I watched the first half of Ross County V Celtic. The cream of Scottish football really is proper League One now isn't it? Celtic playing long balls (badly) and Keystone Cops finishing. They really should have been 10-0 up at half time. I assumed they would win 4 or 5-0 in the end and switched off. Can't believe they lost! Dreadful.

I know they are still 3 points behind but I think there is very little chance of Fulham getting relegated now unfortunately. They are better than Newcastle.
Relax. They are 3 points behind, but I really can't see them getting another point this season so all is well. :sorted:

Although I've just seen their last game of the season - Newcastle at home! Could be the decider? Potentially a dreadful day, but likewise potential comedy gold.

In terms of team able to "fight" for a result, when they need it - I'd think Fulham would be better than Newcastle.
Possibly, but have you seen the remaining fixtures? If it's not too early to refer to it as a "run in", Newcastle's isn't easy but Fulham's is hilarious! :)

It was madness. Two touches in Brighton's box all game, they score from both of them.

I was livid with Alan "paint dry" Smith after he gave Jordan Ayew Man of the Match.
I am writing a strongly worded letter to Sky at the moment.

Usually I can find a reason to support one or other side in a derby, or any game, but have no time for either side although the Brighton sides of around 1976-8 played some excellent football and I saw them at the Goldstone a few times. The rivalry with Palace is laughable and goes back to the Mullery era. Never quite worked out PooGate though. Come to think of it, I believe Benham doesn't get on with BHA's owner, Bloom, so Palace edge it for me. Still remember the LC game at GP.

It's games like that, that I wish there were fans in the ground.
Can you imagine the scenes in the away end.

My first ever game as a 6 year old was Brighton 0 Cambridge 0 at the Goldstone ground.
I stood on a wooden box and got knocked flying by some rowdy Brighton ruffians!

With my Grandma living in Brighton I used to go to the Goldstone quite a lot.
I wouldn't go as far as to say I've got a soft stop for them though.

We have to play Derby and Forest in mid March.

On their showing tonight, 6 points are certain or I am a Dutchman.

Two very sluggish, error prone teams, whose ball retention is poor.

1-0 to Forest from a big keeper error.

Don’t get where that Kazim Richards gets it from .. thought he was written off years ago when he went to Turkey
Still 2 poor teams .. the funny thing is, it looks like both sets of players really rate themselves!

He’s coming up to 35 and scores once every 6 games as a career average. Might get a handful of goals this season but his career is only going one way.

Happy that WR's DC's run has stalled a bit, as we play them in a couple of weeks.....

Goal should not have counted either.
When he initially received the ball, it bounced off him onto his arm and then he volleys it into goal.
Regardless of intent, arm position etc, if it touches his arm or hand and leads to a goal its not to be allowed. He got away with it.

It’s against Watford so who here cares

Half time quiz. No Googling, that's just cheating. Name three former Bees who have managed Gareth Ainsworth's Wycombe Wanderers.
