What a load of bollox.

Why don’t the club just say that there are particular requirements for iFollow access when a game is on Sky and that’s why they have to add access rather than send a code.

Also, if this is VIP access, what level was the access for the Coventry game? I’m going with dogshit level to match the general service that iFollow provides.
Access to games on Sky is classed as VIP for some reason. All decided by the EFL

Exactly. What's changed since this "VIP Upgrade"?
Nothing that i could see and i couldn't work out how to test it so like i said i'll have to go on faith that the email confirms i can watch.

Anybody done this? "test your iFollow account before matchday." and if so how please?
On the phone, go into EFL iFollow app, then "matches", then tap the Sheff Wed match. I got options showing 'listen' (which I paid for the whole season) and 'watch live' which was this deal.

I don't see anything similar on the desktop

Will the iFollow coverage of this have different commentary or just be a rebroadcast of the Sky show?

I'm in the same boat. We are asked to test our iFollow accounts but I have no idea how you do this and nothing appears to have changed. Hopefully all will be well tomorrow.

My desk top refers to 'apps' on the internet screen. Have you tried searching 'EFL iFollow' on the desktop and see what appears from the search engine list? (I'm sure you have - probably like telling my grandmother to suck eggs!)

So, logged in early for a "test access", no match centre showing etc. Same as when I tested access after reading the email.

Wanted to check a cast from my laptop to the telly ahead of KO. Chrome seems to cast no probs from say, YouTube, but won't from a standard chrome page. That may just be some local IT issues at my gaff though...

I have the audio stream available, but not the video option to purchase.
Does anyone else have this?

You can't purchase as it is on Sky, are you a ST holder?

Still getting the revolving circle of doom! Nice idea this iFollow lark, poorly executed though.

Chrome shows me as logged in but no way to watch the video, I logged out and now it refuses to accept my password.

Edge allows me to login and I am now watching.

I normally use Firefox as my browser, but because it doesn't host a lot of apps that well, I tried going in on Chrome (used it before).

Could only get the Circle of Doom, despite repeated refreshing etc.

Five mins before k.o., I tried MS Edge - it only allowed me to click on Audio (i.e. no picture)!

In desperation, tried Firefox just before kick-off, in straightaway, perfect all game! (y)

Circle of death on Silk and Firefox on Firestick so had to resort to laptop and HDMI.

Mrs hobbsy prefers markybee over Sky Sports commentary.

I use firefox, I followed link in email and press video and watched the game no issue at all. Other than the awful biased commentary.

Same. I have not had this problem prior to the Coventry game and had the black screen and was trying alsorts and doubting myself then all of a sudden ten minutes in it came alive and was able to watch rest of game. Then last night I asked my Dad round again and started trying from 7pm onwards trying to get on. Exactly the same, but this time nothing at all. I was blaming my daughter because she was on a zoom call with college. But when that ended still no joy so couldn't have been broadband issues. I tried a dodgy link on my mac via cricfree and found it but gave up because I couldn't bear the foreign commentary. Ended up listening to BBC London digital commentary. Another nail in the coffin of following the Bees. Like someone else has said, I also don't have a couple of hours to waste pissing about with Ifollow etc.

ps Also tried iFollow on Mac, Ipad and Phone with no luck.

I have only ever had one bad experience with iFollow and that was when I was staying in a hotel in Sheffield with a very bad wifi connection. Apart from that using Chrome I have always had a good picture. Occasionally the sound is not in sync with the picture by about one half of a second but I can live with that.
