If we can try to stretch them wide and get a few more GOOD crossed into the box it might be our best chance at getting something, they are too solid through the middle defensively, we’re still in it!

Playing with handbrake on. Worried to commit men forward. Scared of leaving gaps.

Need to be braver.

We are still in it for sure. Concede another it’s game over Id say. Stay in it for first 20-25 second half if we can then throw caution.

Henry will be our match winner.

75 minute equaliser.
88th minute sets up Toney.

We need to dominate midfield, which we are not. Personally we need to replace Jensen. He has not won one 50/50 ball.

That actually led to their goal.
Have a look at the absolute quality in their midfield. We are competing well.

We are outnumbered in mitfield, and ned to find a solution. Macbeth og 3-4-3? As Long as the midfield is overloaded, we are not alle to pass to the wingers in good positions, and the passes to Toney has ben hopeless alone with a very streng Dier.

This is a game where we miss Benrahma jn particular for the moments of magic in beating a man.

Would like to see Josh drive at them one on one and commit a man, need a spark from somewhere.
It’s also a bit like the play off final where an organised and tough opposition don’t let Benrahma get a touch or have two or three on him if he does. Much as Spurs are doing bar a couple of times on both Sergi and Bryan. But, still in it at 1-0 and who knows?

I dont think weve been dominated like the commentators will have you believe. I think its pretty much been as expected, tottenham have shown their superiority but they havnt ran rings around us. The lads are doing us proud so far. Theyve managed to starve da silva of the ball, and weve partly done it ourselves by trying to go long to toney abit too much. Coyr

Thought we have done well apart from the poor defending for the goal, the SKY commentators are a disgrace, it is all Spurs this, Spurs that and giving us no praise what so ever. Raya Save from Toney was just dismissed but I bet if Lloris had save it, they would say it was world class, total bias commentating.
I agree. The way they are talking, you would think we are being played off the park. Apart from the goal, I think we’ve played quite well. We don’t look overawed and we’ve been matching them for skill.
We’re still very much in this game.

Wouldnt mind seeing Mbuemo switch more and have a go at Aurier.
Exactly. Aurier’s the weak link, so need to push up on him. Ivan needs to get after Dire too.

Think we've played ok. Also no complaints about the stupid yellows we've given away. Canos was a professional foul, Janelt a pointless tackle from behind. Neither a yellow in the championship bit it's how we get bullied week in week out. Time to open up now.

Think Sky commentator has been a bit down on us. Although we've not made many clear cut chances, we've made them look uncomfortable at the back at times.....
Bryan doing OK......

Mbeumo and Henry or best players. If we can put more pressure on Dier and also their left back we may get some joy. But got to say Son is a wonderful player blocking the DaSilva thunderbolt and getting up and being furthest player up the pitch all composed.

Why's the PA playing Judge Dread's "Oh What A Big One" before second half kick off?

Think Sky commentator has been a bit down on us.
Steve Wilson? He sounds like he's reading off a script, pretending like he knows all about Brentford, our recruitment (spearheaded by Thomas Frank), the playoff defeat and our first half of the season.

This is a game where Canos is struggling against a pacey FB. There's not many high quality fullbacks in the Championship, and Canos and Mbeumo can't simply turn their opponent inside out.

We're not going to get in behind them too much, so I'd look to cause different problems with Ghoddos. His movement back and in could be a problem for Aurier as Rico will be there to burst into the space if Jensen can cover across incase Moura breaks.

But we're matching a team in the top 5 of the EPL.

We're a damn good team.

That would be worthy of a first yellow. But lucas has now committed 3 fouls and no word and two of those were pushing on rico.

We've got away with one there.

Time to get Canos off, maybe even VJ. Going down to 10 will end it as a contest.

There has been a horrible failure in the referees unconscious bias training.

There is far too much familiarity between the TH first team and the referee. Hard not to draw the conclusion that this is impacting his decision making.

Canos ought to be replaced. There I've said it... he usually scores when say that so here's hoping.

Agree it’s time to withdraw Canos. He’s a stray foot from disaster.

Worried how much longer Toney will last as he's taken so many knocks and seems slightly laboured
