Assuming that Pontus is out, surely just the one change ...

Raya

Dalsgaard - Mads Bech - Pinnock - Henry

Jensen - Da Silva - Janelt

Mbeumo - Toney - Ghoddos
... unless there's an 'away' formation.

Maybe a question as to whether Goode should start being right sided? Mads did well but would mean moving Pinnock over to the right which isn’t ideal.. hopefully Marcondes is fit otherwise we’re looking v light on the bench

Raya, Dalsgaard, Goode, Pinnock, Henry, Janelt, Jensen, DaSilva, Ghoddos, Toney, Mbuemo

Subs: Daniels, Sorenson, Thompson, Marcondes. Canos, Forss, Fosu

Assuming no new knocks or anyone particularly tired I’d go with this

I’d want to see something like:

Raya
Dalsgaard Goode Pinnock Henry
Janelt
Dasilva Jensen
Mbeumo Toney Ghoddos

However with fitness levels, fixture congestion and potential injury to Goode I think we might see something like this:

Raya
Dalsgaard Pinnock Sorensen Henry
Jensen
Dasilva Marcondes
Mbeumo Toney Canos

Would be nice to see Baptiste get some minutes if fit as you feel we will need him.

If he was anywhere near fit I’d imagine he’d have been on the bench on wednesday ahead of Hammar. Suspect we might see him for the B team before returning to the first team squad..

May depend on whether Mbeumo knock he picked up will keep him out of game. I fancy Canos will start whether ahead of Ghoddos depending on Mbeumo fitness. Would think Marcondes will be back so make the bench and hopefully Goode fit enough to provide cover on bench.

Well though Mads Bech played against Wednesday, I would prefer to see Goode replace Jansson as a right footer. The front three should stay the same to further develop their understanding in playing together. I would keep Janelt as DMF and play Dasilva with either Jensen or Marcondes.

Really hoping you’re wrong. I really like Canos, his attitude and commitment, but really don’t think he’s good enough to be a regular starter for a team with top six ambitions.

The way Jensen is playing, he starts in front of Marcondes

Depends on fitness I guess? A lot of games still to play before the next break so need to manage players carefully, especially in midfield given current lack of options..

Not sure Mbuemo will be fit ? Had ice pack on his leg after coming off on Wednesday and with so many games coming up if there’s any danger of making things worse they’ll not risk him. With so many injuries at all clubs at the moment this season is all about squad depth and survival of the fittest . It’s a testimony to our squad that we can still put out a really strong team when we have as many out as we do , not all starters but Noorgard , Janson, Goode , Baptiste , Marcondes, Mbuemo could potentially all be ruled out today .

In the shed.
Our players seem fragile. So many injuries after a few games. Maybe a few sessions with London Irish to toughen them up would help.

Also bear in mind they had hardly any summer break.

With two games a week nearly every week I think every team will suffer with injuries ours are just coming sooner because of the shorter break and the fact a lot are also playing international football so no break then either.

Hopefully players like Norgaard and Pontus will have a rest and let the rest of their bodies recuperate (as well as the injured part) meaning they’ll come back fresh and fit as other players and teams start to suffer with fatigue and the associated injuries.
