I would love to pick a line up but since i'm not fully familiar with the other players i'm not qualified to do so. All i can say is that Ghoddos is already on his way back to London, he posted a picture on his instagram. so he should be in london already if i'm not mistaken or at the very last tomorrow but i reckon it will be tonight. A nice recovery and some training with the team will do him good to get ready for the game.

I do think Ghoddos can use as many minutes as possible to get going and reach his best asap. But i predict a sub for ghoddos early second half just because he's come back from international duty and because the team has been training together for the past couple of days and are ready to go.. replacing someone just like that will not give that person the confidence since he's putting in all the effort in training already. Unless Ghoddos shows he is a level up from that person. We'll see, in hope for a sweet win!
Welcome to the GPG Persian Tachtician given time, I hope we have gone from the Spanish King (jota) to the Algerian Messi (Benerhama) and now we have the Persian Prince, (Ghoddos)?. 😆

Today's selection will be interesting but I really can't imagine Thomas will change the formation and style of play that's taken 3 seasons to ingrain in the players.

Canós, from our attackers, is the highest ranked for defensive contribution, so it would not surprise me to see him start, then get hooked on 60 minutes for Ghoddos.

Lots of over thinking, but I don't expect TF to complicate anything. Nothing we can do about Norgaard, so we go with our 3 best available midfielders (JDS/Jenson/Marcondes) in our usual 4-3-3. Front 3 I'm less bothered about...any combination of Mbuemo/Canos/Fosu/Ghoddos with Toney should be more than enough against Coventry.

When Canos first played for us did he play on the left or right? Before his injury last season he was very effective on the right so maybe Mbeumo could be tried on the left
Right when he first joined, left when Jota returned, I think. I recall someone having dredged up his figures playing in each and that he and we perform better with him on the left.

Let’s be real and accept that this is what TF will consider his strongest starting XI in the absence of Norgaard.

Bentley, Logan, Konsa, Mephem, Bidwell, Woods, Sawyers, Watkins, Gray, Maupay, Benrahma. Might have to play 4-2-4 but boy - some serious inbound money there!
Nice article about Ezri in the Sunday Times today.

On the bench - Button, Dean, Jota, Egan, Dallas, Yenarris, Vibe

I might be wrong but IIRC thats about another £20m on the bench
