One of my lads got his away kit delivered yesterday, he was over the moon.
He's 22 and wears his Bees kits for football traing / Gym.
He was like a little kid and changed into it and wore it at home yesterday evening LOL.
We're going down to the shop tomorrow to get the 3rd kid.

Only Small and 3XL sizes are left!!

So he’ll have to be tiny or very big!!

They will be running a click and collect service during lockdown.

So the shop will be open to collect internet orders but not for browsing or buying.

Loyalty points emails should be hitting your inboxes now.

Spent over £100 in there yesterday, I asked the guy in there if I get any loyalty points being a season ticket holder and he said no.
Also they had completely sold out of all adult sizes in the white 3rd kit and won’t be getting any in before Christmas, had stock of most of the junior sizes.

Yes this is a migration from the old TeamCard system which the club didn't do when choosing a new supplier.

Bit disappointed with the timing of the loyalty points thing.
Since the kits for this season became available I've already done my big order for the year.

Maybe it was intentional so it makes us buy something again? 🤷‍♂️

What is the subject of the email please? Nothing here AFAIK.
Its an email from Brentford FC notifying you of the points you’ve earned and their value to Redeem at the shop.

You’re given a code to add into the promo code box once you’ve ordered.

😁

Maybe we could all pool our loyalty points together and buy one whole shirt?

Is anyone missing loyalty points? The data was taken at a point in time. I have one case where someone is missing £27 worth of points.

Blimey £27! Must be Aston Villa from the Ollie transaction.

How do you know what Loyalty Points you should have as opposed to what you do have and in what period could or did you earn them ?

Think the email said I've got £2 worth but have bought 5 or 6 shirts plus other bits and bobs and have a ST. Does feel I should have more

Anyone else get their email regarding the online ordering of the Third kit and its lack of availability? I ordered as soon as it went live last Monday as I don't live in the UK and couldn't get to the shop. This is the third such email I have received in the last week, one for an order of the 19/20 Third shirt made in August, and one for an order of the 19/20 keeper kit made at the start of October. In the case of the August and October orders I have been told that the items were out of stock of stock at the time of ordering, but as the storage facility was unable to be accessed due to COVID they were still available to order. Funny that my inquiries were ignored until I called them out on Twitter on Friday. Appalling customer service.

I think @hobbsy might be collecting these kind of experiences for BIAS if their reply in the kit thread is anything to go by: 2020/21 Kit - Now Announced

I think the problem lies here:

At the risk of sounding like a grumpy old person, I placed 2 orders recently, one on the 4th and one on the 8th. Both were apparently dispatched yesterday, and one (from the 8th) has turned up today on a next day delivery, whilst I assume the one from the 4th is still in the postal system.

My 'grumble' however is that the order from the 8th was for 3 bits of trainingwear. Only one item has arrived today, with the dispatch note advising that the other 2 were out of stock (which I understand can't be helped). Admittedly I had a generic system generated email yesterday advising I'd been refunded a amount so I had worked out based on cost what I assume I wasn't getting so I wasn't surprised. However in the current climate I would have thought the club would have looked to keep the sale and contact me to offer either a different colour given one item was a training shirt or even a different size, given there isn't always a big difference from L to XL. Failing that if it is because they may have some in storage which they cant access potentially ask me if I was willing to wait. Equally I can still go online and purchase the items/sizes that they are out of stock according to my dispatch note. Surely update the site when you realise to save you having to cancel other orders etc. Indeed I thought most retail systems update stock levels as sales progress. Once again if that's due to potentially having some stock in storage that they cant access, the club may have a lot of excess old stock when they are able to get to it!

As I say - I'm probably just becoming grumpy - but with sales presumably increasing as Xmas approaches surely you want to keep the site updated to prevent fan disappointment and reduce the queries you have to deal with?

Not grumpy at all, the club shop website is not fit for purpose in the current climate, it’s a nostalgic way of reminding me what websites were like 10 years ago !

There needs to be a physical outlet
according to mrs HB who is friends with a woman who's husband is friends with someone high up at BFC we are having a club shop at the new ground when it opens to fans....unless we already know that ...sounds far fetched but maybe it's true !

I thought we were relying on local outlets and not having one at the ground.

Overall I probably should have said (in hindsight), it didn't bother/effect me massively as the items were only for myself to lounge around the house in. However if it doesn't change, and with even more of a reliance than ever before on internet shopping this year, I can see the run up to Christmas being a disaster with people thinking they have purchased something that might then get 'cancelled' due to stock levels. This in turn could lead to some grumpier than me customers needing to find a 'plan B' gift for a friend or loved one, a problem that becomes greater the closer to Xmas and less postage time you have.

Hopefully its just a temporary 'blip' but one to perhaps be mindful of if anyone is planning on purchasing anything in the run up to Xmas. Unless i was just unlucky with 2 items I picked (which still remain available).

The Ambition:

Retail Fulfilment Executive
  • Strong, charismatic leader with exceptional decision-making and delegation skills
  • Ability to execute the commercial vision, strategy and plan for Brentford FC
  • Effective, versatile and action-oriented
  • Track record of executive-level customer engagement
  • P&L responsibility, capable of managing multiple lines of business
  • Consistently exceeds business goals and financial milestones
  • Large network of football retail industry leaders and decision-makers
  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to assess and act upon conflicting data
  • Exceptional communications skills
  • History of successfully operating within cross-functional teams (e.g. managing the team in charge of the 1819 Keyrings at the same time as providing dynamic leadership to the the bloke who puts the numbers on the backs of shirts)
  • Ability to inspire confidence among top clients, board directors and shareholders, including Cliff Crown.
  • Facilitates regular meetings with the Senior Leadership team and aligns workflow between departments
  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
The Reality:

Club shop bod
  • Ability to sell sh*t to gullible punters
  • Multi-task explanations to walk-in customers of why the only shirt sizes on sale are XXS or XXXL, whilst doing the same over the phone
  • Spectacularly fail to order enough items of anything that might prove popular. Every single season.
  • Vaguely attempt to bring the Club’s fan shop up to the level seen when Winnie ran it in a portakabin in the car park. And fail.

I ordered a couple of mini kits (though the price wasn't mini) for the kids w/printing. Received an email last Wednesday morning saying the order had been dispatched and was with RM. Logged onto the RM website this morning which says that while BFC has advised the order is on its way to them, they haven't received it. I know who I believe. I can see this being a battle.

Finally chased up (by email) at the weekend my lost retro training top which I have been waiting for since I returned the wrong size in July.
Got an email response from Leah within 10mins which on a Saturday is very impressive.
She has said that it will be sent out today. I’m hopeful this signals a return to normal service.

RM doesn't update their status the second they receive it into their custody. So I would wait a day or so before blaming this one on the club...

Yeah got my two today as well.
Noticed mine and the old mans name on the last few pages, don’t remember asking for that or did they just list every season ticket holder?
