Why? A win for them all but relegates Barnsley, leaving Barnsley with nothing to play for when we are vs them

I think our whole season rests on the Fulham game today. If they win we're up. If they don't it's the play offs.

Wba will beat Hudd and QPHa no bother.

Swansea - obvious reasons

Stoke - still a small lingering hope that BrumScum might get relegated.

And completely relaxed, under zero pressure and playing for pride. In other words, the exact situation where teams traditionally pull off surprising results. That said, I shall also be rooting for Stoke today. Because they're playing Birmingham.

My mate supports Oxford United. And Wycombe's manager is a proper girl so I'll shout for Oxford tonight. :sorted:

Oxford for me. Gareth Ainsworth looks like an ageing rock star. Love the red crocodile boots.

I've watched all of the playoff matches this year. Is it my imagination, or is League One nowhere near the standard it was the last few years we were in that league? Empty stadiums aside, it's been like watching Conference games. Or perhaps I've just forgotten how bad it was?

Having watched his performances at the end of the playoff games and his interview tonight, I've decided that I absolutely love Adebayo Akinfenwa lol. He is some character.

Wycombe's centre back Stewart looks a decent player. Don't think Wanderers would have won without him

Always loved the club that gave us Bill Dodgin, John Fraser, Tony Mahoney, Marcello Trotta and the two best Easter’s ever.
One more generous gift tonight please.

Feel so dirty wanting F****m to win tonight - the only consolation is how they will be feeling if they help us win promotion :D

Trying to recall a non-Bees game that has been as eagerly anticipated as this one in recent years (excluding the last few weeks of course)

There must have been a few nervous last days when we were also playing... Hard to recall one when we were total observers on the day - though obviously this is far less common in the lower leagues with changeable kick offs being rarer.
The reference in one of these threads to Stoke 0 Chester 1 (91/92, kids, my eighth birthday) ahead of Bees 4 Fulham 0 is very appropriate.

I recall Birmingham lost 1-0 at Cambridge in 94/95 a few hours before we won at Orient - we were told about this excellent news on the tube to Leyton. That season still had a few games left to run though and there were slips on both sides to come.

Right now, our "partner club" Boreham Wood are 2-1 up on Halifax Town in the NL playoff quarter finals. Justin Shaibu is on as a sub, Ricky Shakes and Piero Mingoia are on the bench.
