Who gives a sh*t?? Would never boo him as he was the man MB put in place to start our next chapter in footie history. But he has gone now so close thread . Couldn't give a sh*t about him or his current or future teams.
Yes he has gone hence why this thread is in former Bees.

I don't want to look mean, but I do hope he is sacked before the end of the season
Surely everyone who thinks he is a poor manager would want him to stay at one of our championship rivals ?

Just before the season started, I was speaking to a Millwall fan and he commented on the differing natures of Rosler and Warburton. Really impressed with the way Warbs holds himself and admitted to be quite jealous of us and how we are set up now.

The same sentiments werent applied to Rosler however. Didn't rate him too highly and said he landed on his feet at Wigan. Probably the best side in that division at the time in terms of personnel. Also didn't like the way he acts high and mighty when he has accomplished relatively very little in England.

Wigan did us a favour in my opinion

Fl show reporting that Wigan paraded delort on the pitch today despite the owner of delort's club claiming that the deal hasn't been finalised, annoys me how the fl show just laugh these things off rather than discussing key issues, they are so scared to have an opinion on anything

Strange, strange comments here. Remember what he did for us. Think about where we were before we came. Think about the signings he made, how he took us to within a few inches of the second tier. Yet you scathe him and call him a sh*t manager..

I think you will find Mark Warburton identified most of the player the club signed. Rosler knew very little about English lower league players. Tell you anothe thing if Rosler was in charge of Bees today, we would not have won the game.

he took us **** all past Nicky Forster in his first year, and then bottled promotion at Hartlepool (amongst others) with a weird team selection (Jake Reeves!), and then couldn't fail to get promoted last year with his budget, but it took the players to tell him what to do before we started firing.....

That's known as counter-factual history - a mere assertion, unprovable eitber way, containing a grain of plausibility set against plenty of arguments to the contrary.

Wigan won 4-0 yesterday, but only one goal in the second half. Uwe sitting on his lead, no doubt.

You make it sound all so easy: more money equals promotion. If things were that simple, you wouldn't need league tables, just balance sheets.

football is easy, its coaches that make it complicated,...... i wonder how many Bees fans would have accepted finishing with the same points last season as the year before.

Not speaking to you your just a stats man, keyboard warrior. Sorry if that sounds a bit rude. but you need to take your head out of your arse and liven up . I know you love Rosler, he never got us promoted Warbs did that, get used to it. Best thing for you is do not reply to my posts, I feel you seem to think you are cleverer that most of us on here. Once again i am so sorry to have to put it this way. Your probably a nice bloke, but your posts really piss me off.

There's no one forcing you to read my posts. Or to reply to them.

But we take your point: you don't like Uwe Rösler and think he's a sh*t manager. Like a number of other Rösler-obsessed posters on here, you'll advance any argument to minimise his achievement and play up his shortcomings. Meanwhile, Mark Warburton can do no wrong.

We'll see. Warburton has done extremely well so far, no doubt in part due to Matthew Benham's deep pockets (you see: that's an argument that cuts both ways), and I hope he continues as he has begun. However in my view, and I suspect in the view of many others, prior to Warburton's taking over the reins, Rösler's coming was the best thing that had happened to Brentford for many years.

You do know Warbs was the man bringing in the players while Rosler was in charge don't you ?

You give this C*** Rosler far to much credit and are quiet frankly embarrassing yourself.

All Credit for our success should go to MB Warbs & the players who told that c*** Rosler how to do his job.

I think you mean you take my point. It's not for you or me to speak for other grapeviners. I never said I don;t like Rosler. IMO he is not an honorable man. and your point that MB deep pockets make Warbs a beetter manager to this poster.
That is a load of bollox, Warbs worked on the same principles. Rosler has to take credit for what he has done, but IMO, and only my opinion, the best he would have done for us is playoffs. I suspect I have watched the team a lot more than you have. My remarks are based on what I have seen, yours are based on what you read , and the odd time you manage to get a game. One other point to make that you do not seem to be able to grasp is , who do you think identified these players in the first place ? Certainly not Rosler. Even know he is trying to snap up players that we have been interested in. Shows how much he admires Warburton. and my final point to you , Do not underestimate Warburton, he has an excellant football brain, has made his money in the city, and does not need Bfc . He shares the same vision as MB. WBA came infor him & wanted him as their sporting director, he declined as he sees a better vision at BFC. I sit in the New rd, not far from the dugouts, Rosler is not the goody goody that you make him out to be. One game a fan that sits in front of me , and goes to every home game , saw that Rosler shut up shop and shouted to get someone up top, Roslers reply was "**** Off" He also pranced about like a raving lunatic on many occasions reminding me of Basil Faulty. But you go about thinking Roslers one of the best things that has happened to BFC.
This refers to post1328.

Lets face with budgets and squads compared Wigan should finish miles above us. Yet does anyone on here think that will happen? Finish above possibly - miles above us with Rosler I genuinely cant see that happening and in five seasons he will be another Aidy Boothroyd. Great early reputation but found out as a poor tactican/motivater afterwards

A c**** who transformed our style of play, acquired quality players and almost led us to promotion last season? Ok.

I think my pal meant that Wigan had a brilliant squad and Rosler wasn't the miracle worker everyone talked him up to be
So why were they in 16th then? Their shoot up the table didn't come by magic- Rosler played a large part in making it happen.

You don't seem as in the know as you imply, Rosler didn't scout or source most of the players, you can have Forshaw.
Personally I think I could have got Roslers squad into the play offs and dare I say it playing better football.

He didn't transform our style of football we played passing football under Forster/warbs before Rosler arrived and our style of football has dramatically improved since he left. He tried to tap up Saville and he did tap up forshaw yet you continue to stick up for him?

Im only going on what my mate said. I think the burden of the Europa league forced a lack of continuity in their team selection and once they went out of that they saw a marked improvement. His time at Wigan has eerily mirrored what he did with us. Impressive for the most part but his arsehole drops when it comes to the crunch. That Qpr playoff game was there for taking last season but he reverted to form and went uber defensive and tried to nick a goal.

Young Tom. Rosler was your first love as a Brentford fan. You were young an easily impressed.
It's like when you shag your first bird. You will always look back with fond memories but as time goes by you realise they were just a slag and took the pee out of you big time.

You also forgot mate that he poached the fitness coach and asked MW to join him. Given the chance of getting his career on track in the UK its been huge kick in the b***ocks to the clubs owner including two fingers at the same time.

That's what gets me more than anything. The way Uwe has treated the Club & MB in particular, since he left this Club is nothing short of disgraceful. Yet we get Uwe's apologists on here trying to make out the bloke is a Saint. He wants to get to the very top & will stop at nothing to achieve that. I truly hope that Uwe will one day realise the consequences of the phrase "be good to people on the way up, because you're sure to meet them on the way down".

Rosler definitely had his short-comings, and Warburton was responsible for most, of not all of our transfer dealings. But, Rosler was the man on the training pitch, and the man in the dug outs. He took us to a last day game against Doncaster where a missed penalty was the difference between promotion and the play-offs.

We did start slow against Yeovil and that eventually cost us, but you can't slate the work Rosler done for us. I'm sure the likes of Dean, Bidwell, Forshaw, Forrester, Donaldson, Douglas, Trotta etc can only have good things to say about him. Last season Rosler began us on the path we took to promotion, and was key before that. Warburton came in, didn't tinker much and made us more aggressive. In the end he got us promoted and he's had a very strong hand in it ever since his appointment as DoF.

It was very much a team effort between the two and whilst people may not like Rosler as he is no angel, let's not use that dislike to cloud judgement on the job he done.

Tell me about it.
I offered £2 on Thursday and £3 on Friday but still no book.
I'll go in with a £3.50 on Monday and tell them it's all I have.
