Having read through so much negativity and doom and gloom analysis in the last week from our 'fans' it got me thinking about getting behind the team in some way.
In bad runs pre Covid you would get to a game at GP where we the supporters played our part. I remember an Alan Judge sliding tackle in a match during a sticky patch in our promotion season when the whole of GP seemed to wake from a negative torpor and we raised the roof with a huge roar . I was sitting in New Road and the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. It lifted us and bloody hell it lifted the team, sticky patch over.
I could just imagine the atmosphere at the BCS on Wednesday if we were there. Initially there would be trepidation and nervousness but the noise from our West Stand will lift us all and we in turn would roar the team into confidence and belief.
Of course we will not be there but its now that this young team need that support. How can we do that in some small way? How can we tell them we are not sitting in judgement , that we are standing shoulder to shoulder with a team second in the Championship, conquerors of 4 Prem teams and League Cup semi finalists.
I know Sir PG reads the GPG, is there something along the lines of the fan read outs that we can get to the players?
Now is not the time to bitch and moan, any damn fool can follow a winning team. We always nostalgically talk of Oldham away etc and terrible defeats , that is how the bond was forged. Let us do our bit now.

A medley of national anthems played in the dressing room before the game.

Get out the pots and pans and bash them with a wooden spoon in the front garden?

Sometime around 18:55 on Wednesday preferably?

Don't think there is much we can do...not when we can't offer our support at the stadiums. Just don't tag players on social media slagging them off and you've done your part.

We could all sell our souls to the devil in return for being unbeaten until the end of the season. Just need to find a goat for the ritual slaughter. Nudity and sex will be involved, shouldn't offend too many on here.

Probably best to close all social media, or not let anybody post within 7 days of a defeat.

Sing “ I’d like to teach the world to sing” or Kumbaya to help spread positivity rather than yell “Go on Bees f*** the Welsh inbr*ds and their ugly coach”
I know which one I prefer

A bit outlandish but, I think the team meet up at Jersey Rd Training Ground and go to Lionel Rd by coach from there.Get a large number of local fans to social distance themselves in around Jersey Rd giving them big cheers as they drive by. This would show them we are with them.

Sounds like a bit of a non essential journey to me. How many socially distanced people can congregate in a car park without looking like a bunch of selfish fans?

We could all raid the training ground, trash the place, beat up some players and staff - Marseille style?

Seemed to work for them.
