From club's website:

Whilst matches are played to zero or limited attendances:
  • Matches that are NOT LIVE on Sky Sport will be streamed on iFollow
  • STHers will be able to watch those matches that are at HOME ONLY on iFollow as part of their STH package
  • STHers MAY be able to access MIDWEEK AWAY MATCHES on iFollow, but only if the home club permits
  • Other supporters will be able to watch the above games for £10 per match
  • STHers must purchase their tickets by 4th October to benefit from the above

I suspect it will be that you will have to hand-back your ST if you want a refund for all games.

Will the codes ST holders had late last season carry over to these games, or will we need new codes?

I suspect the second and third points are not applicable if the ST holder is not located in the UK and if there are any foreign broadcasts, as was the case for the restart (despite not being publicised)

Do we have many non UK based season ticket holders?

Are they suggesting that there will be no way to watch weekend away games?

I read elsewhere that ST Holders could watch weekend away matches via iFollow by purchasing a match pass at a cost of £10 per match.

Could / would the club resell any handed back STs if someone wanted to purchase ?

Wow, I personally wouldn’t want ifollow, I am hoping we can get to some games so would prefer a credit to use of next years ST. Do you not think this will be an option then without relinquishing your ST?I understand it’s tricky but the ifollow or nothing option is a bit steep tbh

Yes doesn't seem particularly fair, especially as it's only a tenner to buy access to the live stream. Cheapest adult ST comes to £18 a game... Seems a pretty bad deal for ST holder. And doesn't even include sky games.

The pandemic is not fair. I'm sure the club will look after season ticket holders. There will never be a solution that fits all. I'm sure they are doing their best.

The solution that fits all is availability of pro-rata refunds for games not able to be attended. Can choose to take it up or not if you feel a "donation" is required for whatever reason.

Has the club stated that there will be no refunds? I'd be surprised if that is not an option.

I would have thought that under Consumer Protecton Laws they have to offer you a refund?

I mean if you lease a new £40k BMW from a dealer and BMW suddenly says:"Nothng available until some time next year", the dealer surely can't get away with offering you a 2nd hand Vauxhall worth £15k to run around in until then instead, while the BMW payments are still coming out of your account.

I think there was a suggestion somewhere that it could be full refund and surrender season ticket i.e. no games, OR no refund and take iFollow for games you are not permitted to attend. With no other pro-rata type option. That would be a difficult decision for some I expect.

Having seen no official communications I’ll reserve judgement but if true it would be a disgraceful move by the club. IFollow access is not equal value to a match ticket, if any thing iFollow should be a complimentary for the inconvenience. Happy for the club to hold on to the money with a view to discount future season tickets, that’s reasonable but pick pocketing fans isn’t the way to go - sell a player if they’re that desperate

iFollow video access to away games at a tenner a time is much cheaper than an away ticket would bee. Just saying, like... .

You'd think not but back in April that is exactly what most airlines did. Flight cancelled, no refund, credit only.

Having said that I think BFC have a little more integrity that some of them.

People should be offered refunds on games not attended if they dont want ifollow. And as has been said above ifollow wont offset £18 a match for some ST holders.

I have forked out for x2 premium dugout season tickets for me and the mrs at £690 a pop.

If my maths is correct that equates to £30 a game so there is no way I am going to be going with the I-Follow option when I can purchase this for a tenner.

What I would consider would be to credit the value of the ticket to my account maybe to use for cup games or next years season ticket.

I donated £100 odd quid for last seasons missed games to the club but my generosity is now flagging.

I think the amount of stuff the club has had to deal with over the past few months has been immense. Not everything has gone to plan but to be honest they've done a pretty amazing job all in all.

I think patience and support is what's needed.

I think by and large the fans have been patient and supportive. But a bit of support for those of us who have had their wages slashed and still face redundancy wouldnt go amiss either. The difference is we arent about to cash in two major assets for £50m or more unlike the football club.

A match by match refund for the ones we cant attend isnt much to ask for.

If (granted at this stage its a big if) they are going to try and hold us to ransom by saying the only refund option is a full one, then that really would stink, I may be alone but I would have serious reservations about future season ticket purchases if this is the case especially with this virus hanging over us for the foreseeable future. It smacks of being asked to gamble on how long restrictions will be in place for, and we know this government changes it mind on them in an instant or following a tiny bit of public pressure.

As a long time ST holder i chose to accept the iFollow option last season, happy in the knowledge I was supporting the club I love. The reports on iFollows erratic access meant I didn't bother using it. Most matches were broadcast on Sky so it didn't matter. Now I am out of work and at my age have no realistic prospect of getting another job. I have a ST for 20/21 but may never get to use it.

If the club says keep the ST or relinquish it for a refund with nothing in between, it will leave a very bad taste. I don't like to ask for a refund and had written the money off, but consideration should be offered. Will I be there for season 21/22 or ever after? Very sadly it is unlikely.

I'd be surprised if that were the case TBH - full refund, games + iFollow or games + refund should be the 3 options

I hope the way forward is a bit more nuanced than all or nothing and I'm confident it will be.

You don’t get to see away games with your ST. I’d prefer if they just rolled any refunds off next seasons ticket.

Whatever approach is adopted, it also has to be practical for the club to administer. Having thousands of individual refunds to process once or twice a week may be a unacceptable drain on resources.
