What has happened to our passing game? I have been waiting for the players to gel and all that but TF doesn’t seem worried about our pedestrian play in possession, his concern is always with defending. I think this is just what we are now.

I can accept a mid table season but can we get back to being an exciting team because this one is very boring and it shouldn’t be. A draw is a fair result, in the last thirty minutes we were the team who looked like hoofers with no imagination.

Complete lack of pace up front the big issue at the moment. Mbuemo is quick but as he can’t use his right foot everyone’s caught up by the time he gets it onto his left.

Only time we stretch teams at the moment is when Dasilva or Henry get forward, as that’s where our only pace is!

Of course there’s lots we miss from Watkins and Benrahma, but haven’t replaced their pace at all and that’s what’s killing us.

Dire. Just not getting enough players forward. Jensen, DaSilva and Ghoddos all sat far too deep first half. Canos offered nothing for most of the game. 2nd half we just got sucked further and further backwards, going 4-4-2 handed them the initiative just like in the boro game and we couldn't get out of our half. At least this time Frank changed it again by bringing Janelt on but game was gone by then. Going to have to be a hell of a lot better at Barnsley.

To be honest I just want this season over. Didn't watch thank god. It will be better when we can get back in the ground I'm sure but at this rate, I'll be happy to reach the 50 point mark. I'm sure someone will trot out were unbeaten in 5 but I can't see where the next win is coming from tbh.

Lots of moaning today. I’m not watching, but are these players above really not good enough, Isn’t it the case get Norgaad back playing well and suddenly the others are encouraged and improve?
I think there's a lot to this. Our wide forwards aren't doing much but we seem to have a huge hole in midfield without Norgaard. Jensen can't combine holding with driving forward in the way Norgaard does - we did look a lot better in that regard when Janelt came on and Jensen got a bit further upfield. JDS then ends up having to be defending as well as going forward.

Maybe play him on the left and whip in balls to Toney or Forss

Should have won that at a canter, but can’t be disappointed with a point away from home. Another game we might have lost last season, we all saw it happen on more than one occasion. Anyone climb a tree to watch today’s match live?

That was poor against a team that is certain to be relegated. Really missing a Said type of player and a complete lack of form from all wingers. At least a contribution towards a good cause.

The football matched the quality of my iFollow stream - a load of rubbish!

Should have been a hard fought win but their goalkeeper made two great saves from Mbuemo.

Last 20 minutes were terrible though in terms of not being able to create anything for Toney or Forss.

Agree. Whilst there was logic behind the first two substitution it somehow handed them the initiative

We're playing far too deep at times and there's so little movement up front. Jensen and DaSilva were both looking for the ball on the edge of our penalty area. The front three/four are miles apart so we're not able to ping passes around quickly. Was hoping a week's worth of training together would have improved that understanding but there's no sign of it at all at the moment. Nothing's clicking.. Hugely frustrating.

We have lost our two best forwards - possibly ever. How can it be business as it was last season.
The problem started last season, it was evident from about Preston onwards. There are quality players in this team but for some reason we’ve given up on pass and move football in favour of becoming functional in the classical mid table style.

At least they didn't get beat. One more point towards safety. This is football, but its dead without spectators. Roll on May...

So disappointing. Our front three as a combo are way off the level of last year - not surprisingly. Consequently, we are not carrying much of a threat at the moment. Aside from JDS, Rico and a couple of others, no one is really stepping up to nail down a starting place. Plenty of huff and puff just no swagger. Norgaard will be a big boost when he returns. Hopefully the catalyst to improved performances.

only positive is we started worst than this last season and look how we nearly made it.
So just hope we win 9 in a row at the end and we will be fine.

The reality is that we have 3-4 quality players all playing Gash at the moment.

I really hate to have to admit this but the only way I could cope with last seasons capitulation to Fulham was to believe this year we would stomp it like we did in div 1. But the cold sick moment is that we are suffering a serious play-off hang over.

A long, long way to go but I don’t think we have been this consistently poor for many years, going right back to Preston there had only been a few glimmers of quality.

I don’t think the players are the wrong ones just too many are playing total sh*t. We need to win a game.

That was a terrible performance, but I didn't really expect anything else against a team that we knew would play like that.

You reckon after the 8th win on the trott we changed the way we play?

Fosu didn't light any fires either.
I dont rate him at the level we're aiming at but he has to start midweek in place of Canos if Ghoddos is our only fit CM option. Not that Ghoddos has done much either so far with us.

We seem so much slower in attack SB was hardly quick either. Midfield and attack have lost there spark we need to add some pace and power out wide.

Today's shot map. Nothing from inside 12 yards.

xG of 0.56 must be one of our worst ever

absolute garbage against a team who huffed and puffed very well but had no quality.....what the feck has happened to mbeumo ?? canos offered absolute jackshit and when you have our 2 wide players who just arent at the races its always gonna leave you with problems.....im actually thinking that tf has taken us as far as he can go with the players we have and we might need a new direction......we are boring everyone to death with whats being played out there.......at least pontus was back and was very decent and josh was his usual self.. the one plus point is that we wont go down but i cant see us doing much else with whats on offer,,,,,,we desperately need some creativity in midfield to help jds and we need TWO Fkin new wide players before its too late......if we arent busy in the jan window we are mid table all season at best.......at least my tenner went to a great cause,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,whod pay for that crap otherwise

Time to face the facts, mid table performances so far this season. time to stop making excuses, apart from toney, the players that we signed to replace the two that we lost, are not good enough. Time to start playing our football in the opponents half. Watching us this season is like watching paint dry. I am so sorry that i am saying this , after 6or7 great seasons of watching class football. We are nowhere near top six, after a quarter of the season. Frank needs to earn his money now , the excuses have to stop. Just so, so disappointing.

Another poor performance. Can't wait for the TF excuses this week.

The table doesn't lie. We are a midtable team.

Started well and thought we'd cruise it, after about 10 mins we ran out of ideas and were sh*t. Ghoddos and Canos were probably Wycombe's best defenders - every time the got the ball Wycombe had it soon after. Once again changing to 442 just allowed the opposition on to us and they looked way more likely to score than us.

The times this season we've looked the quality side I think we are has been when we've played with pace, but we seem to be trying to control the game with possession rather than looking to break with speed, I wonder if this is because of the condensed fixture list and trying to save the players legs but it's bloody frustrating to watch us right now, feels like the final2/3 months of Rosler's spell right now. We need a Stevenage moment and kick on I think.

Little or no movement in any of the players that should be looking to receive the ball then, when the ball is coming towards them, they wait for it to arrive, allowing the ball to be nicked off them. That Mbeumo was our best forward says it all and Canós was like a puppy on a Sunday morning pitch, chasing all over the place without actually getting to the ball. Ghoddos looked just as out of place in midfield as in the front line. We're really missing the control that Nørgaard gives us, so I'm not sure what the short-term solution is. On the plus side, Mads Bech continues to look impressive.

Lack of pace, slow in the transition from defence into attack, 4 players (Rays, Henry, Toney and Da Silva) carrying the rest, no plan B other than ineffectual long throws from Sorensen, too loyal to Canos, Mbeueno looking the shadow of his self....

Frank has a lot to sort out.

To me there are only two positive thinks to come out of that rubbish game

1) we got a point
2) Sorenson is not out off his depth

Dasilva, Jansson Sorenson and Raya to me were the only player who had decent games

You can also see the lack of movement from the front three players, yes Toney scores goals but he’s not got the movement across the pitch. There will be some fans still saying wait till Ghoddos get up to speed , the way he’s going it’s not going to be soon.
