What did Jensen do apart from act as decoy for every corner we had ?
Canos was woeful, Toney is no Watkins in build up play and we have lost our X factor.
The joke is we are only seven points off top spot after drawing four recent games thqt should
have resulted in three wins at least.

Sooooo....

Looks like the international break time was spent well on the training pitch. That was the great hope' for many citing fatigue as to our declining quality.

Another excuse for poor performances gone for a burton. The return of Norgaard wouldn't have improved that today. Players have had a rest. Wycombe are a poor team. We look poor, lack energy and confidence. Games come thick and fast again now and it appears Thomas doesn't know how to get a tune out of the players at his disposal.

I hate writing this but we look distinctly average this season. Today was a dull, lifeless performance from a team that looked low on confidence. We miss Said and Ollie hugely. Toney is an asset and a great finisher but he got no service today. We lack creativity too.

The positives from today? Raya, Henry and Dasilva played well. Jansson and Sorensen were ok. I’m not generally a fan of Dalsgaard but he had a reasonable game. Mbeumo?- In and out. Unlucky not to score. Ghoddos ? Could do better. Jensen? Not too bad but didn’t pull up any trees. Canos? - enough said.

Get Norgaard fit, stay in touching distance over Christmas and then buy at least 1 decent winger with pace in January and we will be just fine.

Really do not understand why we've changed the way we play. Thought the whole BFC strategy was, play creative exciting football and train the players to fit in? Instead we're playing endless long balls, and the midfield is playing a mile away from the front line. We just don't look like a team, either, especially up front.

Oh, and WW time-wasted from the first minute - referee did nothing.

Most disappointing today but we must remember that a very few years ago we would have taken mid-table in The Championship.

Might Baptiste add some much needed creativity - if he is ever fit.

Didn't see the game so can't really comment. Not surprised with the result but Wycombe aren't the whipping boys of this league as many make out, they have had a couple of decent performances drawing at home to Watford and also conceding a 94th winner against Norwich. We have currently forgotten how to win (4 wins out of 12 is not great) but next best thing if we don't play well pick up a point. We all accepted both Said and Ollie would be leaving but the lost of Said has really affected our attack, coupled with the on-going absence of CN. TF needs to earn his money in the next week or so and we have a tough game on Tuesday night. We just need to get through the next 6 weeks and stay in touch as noted by @1889 above and look to strengthen in January. It's a poor league but still confident we are better than most. All is not lost but reading comments above the performance is more a worry than the actual result.

He probably didn’t think that any team playing at home would start to waste time straight from the kickoff!

Completely irrelevant. We don’t have a squad of league one journeymen now, do we?
no but we are starting to behave and talk as if we are entitled to roll teams over like little old Wycombe. Exactly the type of thing we currently and even more in the past heard from our mid range and bigger rivals

Mid table Championship in a year of pandemic is a good base to get better from. A goal from nothing like Rico's at Luton can turn a frustrating mistake fest into a comfortable stylish victory with very little difference in the actual performance of players. Da Silva fantastic again, back five played well enough and Mbuemo despite lacking form never hid and was one of the few attacking players that actually got involved in attacking.

Same goes for the 'we should remember we'd have taken mid table just 2 years ago' brigade. That's probably what we will take at this rate. We have spent money with the aim of being at least top 6 - nothing Bertie Bigbollox about that, that's just how it is. The reality is we sold two fantastic players and only one of them has been replaced. BFC have become renowned for coaching players to massively improve whilst here and play above themselves - this season, it's just not happening.

So just hope we win 9 in a row at the end and we will be fine.

The reality is that we have 3-4 quality players all playing Gash at the moment.

I really hate to have to admit this but the only way I could cope with last seasons capitulation to Fulham was to believe this year we would stomp it like we did in div 1. But the cold sick moment is that we are suffering a serious play-off hang over.

A long, long way to go but I don’t think we have been this consistently poor for many years, going right back to Preston there had only been a few glimmers of quality.

I don’t think the players are the wrong ones just too many are playing total sh*t. We need to win a game.

We seem to have lost our 'identity' we had in previous seasons. we just don't try keep possession anymore its more get rid as soon as possible.
To be fair our identity has been forged over the last 10 years not the last 10 games. It’s all a bit sh*t and we are hitting a lot of long balls but we haven’t suddenly decided Wimbledon is the way forward,
