He played really well. We were against Liverpool with 10 men and he was one of only two in midfield for more than half the game. He got his second yellow only after chasing a lost cause and trying to keep us in the game in the dying seconds. You...

Following the example set by the first team a bit too literally there

But had no impact because VAR got them both right.

Ridiculous finish with the header and a very good game save for their equaliser where in fairness he was left in a pretty vulnerable position to defend. Must be right in line for England

Referee ultimately followed the instruction of VAR on both major calls and they were both right No pen for them, but yes red card for us. A few soft yellows for us but nothing game changing that he got wrong in terms of decisions. We win that...

He was on 5 before the second yellow, so why would he go back to 4?

Someone vote for Ajer for me. Cheers

It’s relative to the quality of opponents faced I’m guessing

Was never likely to make it here at first team level but could conceivably have gotten close enough to have earned a move like Brierley and Trevitt. Post injury that chance has probably passed him by but perhaps we’ve viewed it as a bit of a...

He was generally good after coming on but also made one suicidal pass that very nearly led to a winner for Villa.

Someone vote for Ajer for me Thanks

Such a pony ref AGAIN

How have they just had a goal kick there

Still unbeaten this season!

Not nearly as cultured on the ball as TC

But not the vote for Sangare. Thats totally legit ?

Interesting vote for Sangare

I don’t think it flatters us. Chelsea could not perform to the required level consistently for 90 minutes. Thats what football is about. You’re right we’ve played better than that, and it could have been 4, 5 or 6.

Brentford reject

We were always going to score tonight, all about the defensive performance. We had everything they did not in that regard, cohesion and a proper desire to keep a clean sheet.

Something not right with Chelsea’s recruitment, they seem to just always have glaring gaps in their starting eleven despite spending all the money. A very weak defensive unit.

An upgrade on Nelson, just a little bit.

Actually a pretty composed finish, a little harder than it looked. Many would have snatched at it and seen it blocked

Gooooooooood player

Played well tbh. Never mind eh

One of the all timers. Fantastic

Someone vote for all of them for me. Cheers

Reminded me of Barbet at centre back, lots of recovery runs and last ditch tackles that looked good but you'd probably prefer to avoid those situations in the first place. He was good enough when moved back to LB but don't see him overtaking...
