I'm against it. I much prefer binge drinking before I go in because I know my drinking opportunities are limited once inside. Besides, if the bar is permanently open I suspect quite a few attendees would just remain in the concourse throughout... Would ruin the atmosphere.

Quite right too. Surely these reckless fans realise that this abhorrent behaviour risks thousands of lives. The quicker these "fans" (ergo potential murderers) have no more access to stadiums, the sooner we can attend games safely. Actually, just fold this wretched irresponsible football club...

Probably. But human reactions don't generally work like that. I can't think of a game where opposing fans cheered their players coming off the pitch at half time 3-0 down. Actually it be a bit weird if that happened.

Anyway... I don't think the booing fans were thinking of ways of "motivating" the players. The game was lost. Any booing will have been a pent up release of frustration before embarking on a horrendous journey back home, in traffic, in biblical weather conditions.
