Sunderland (H)

Wednesday 7th January 19:30 kick off

This is a home (Cat B) friends & family access fixture.

The friends & family access fixture is a new membership benefit (for Adult and 18 - 24 members) which allows members (excluding overseas and juniors) to purchase an additional ticket with their membership.

To purchase tickets: you must be a My Bees member, but no Ticket Access Points are required. My Bees members will be able to purchase two tickets per account and will then be able to forward their extra ticket to someone in their Friends & Family network who has a Brentford FC ticketing account.

To forward your tickets to your guest:

My Bees members can forward their guest ticket to anyone in their friends & family network - they do not have to be a member.

Your guest will need a Brentford FC ticketing account.

  • My Bees members (up to 2 tickets per membership): Thursday 4 December, 2pm
This is a family and friends access fixture.

For this game, 18–24 and adult members can purchase up to two tickets with their membership, giving them the chance to bring a guest and invite a fellow Bee to the Gtech.

Tickets thread this is....

Will be interesting to see whether members:
  • bring the same plus one for this fixture as for Burnley or
  • it’s different guests, given it’s an midweek game or
  • the uptake of additional (or even member) tickets drops off.
Atmosphere vs Burnley was subdued, most likely as for 80mins the match did little to lift the mood. Also takes a few games for future regulars to get comfortable with being vocal. Evening games tend to have a certain je ne sais quoi that hopefully hooks a few.

Sunderland game doesn’t show on my ticketing account, anyone having the same problem?
I need to list on the exchange

Likely because they are configuring the system for the member sale today, check again later or tomorrow.

I am a season ticket holder is it possible for me to buy an extra ticket?
My 10 year old is a member but is too young to get another ticket?!
We would like to bring someone to the game with us.

No, the order is a membership perk only. Your best bet is to see if another season ticket holder isn't attending and can transfer the ticket to you.

Any STHs in West Stand that can't make this and willing to forward their ticket to a family member of mine since I'm a cheap bastard plus Christmas is attacking my bank account? Will still pay the ticket value.

Thanks for the advice. It's disappointing this perk is not available to season ticket holders. It's frustrating when you see some empty seats at a game.
It’s one of the few we get. Don’t ST holders get a chance to buy up to 6 tickets for some of the other games?

Don’t think so mate. Not league games that’s for sure.

Well you can buy up to six tickets for away games but you need six eligible peoples details (ie. Enough TAPs)

Not true, Wolves away you can buy five extra tickets and allocate them all to yourselves.

Only happens for matches that are selling poorly.

Oh yeah the crapper games fair enough . Not a big perk !

Listen to yourself lol
I just mean that it’s unlikely for people to find others that want to come to those games that couldn’t have come anyway with their own taps

IDK, I quite enjoyed watching the Burnley game. All the prem teams play nice football these days. It’s not like it was 20 years ago when the ball spends more time in the air than on the ground.

I was thinking this league 2 game terrible game to watch ⌚🤔 😕 😳

Wasn’t too hard for me to find someone to go to Burnley and the upcoming Sunderland game, but I’ve got mates innit 🤣

Burnley was a great day out for us. Few beers, 2-0 win on mostly sunny day, few more beers, pizza, few more beers watching the rest of the evening’s football in the pub. What more do you want from life?

Must have been a good day, if you don’t recall we won 3-1 🤣

This offer is also available for season ticket holders to buy extra, now. The carousel on the ticket site front page says "On-sale to all members and season tickets holders"

I have bought a pair for two tourist friends of friends that are visiting London from Australia next week. I hope they will be happy to see a PL game for £40 each.

As an aside, in contrast, a different friend of a friend is from the US and was making enquiries for 31st Jan / 1st Feb - he thought nothing wrong with paying £150 for Spurs membership and a ticket to see them pay Man City. I did suggest he might like a trip to Villa Park for £30... but seems that's a little less enticing to a tourist staying in London.

I'm assuming BFC are desperate to sell tickets for this one.

For the first time ever whilst in the PL, the club have e-mailed me, inviting me to buy tickets for a PL game, despite not being a member (although I have a long history as a previous purchaser and Taps from cup games).

Are they desperate or is it a mistake?

It's not a mistake, sales are very low.

Always gonna be a tough sell this one:
Horrible time of the year.
"School" night.
"Unattractive" opposition.
Lots of recent home fixtures.
Plus the forecast for next week isn't looking great.

Another late one getting back for me. With work the following day. But will be there again with Badgerbee Jnr!!!!
YOU REDSSSSSS!!!!

I know its a tough time of year etc, but it also does show to some extent that there isnt the massive clamour for tickets that we believe there is at times.
I think it’s now largely accepted that any member who wants to get a ticket for a Bees game outside the “big four” can easily do so. Often also easy for a casual member to get one for a “big four” game too.

Think the main outstanding issue is with regards members getting access to season tickets, which can be quite a high bar.

Hmmm, the two seats in front of my son and I in the East stand are showing as 'on the exchange', which would imply that they belong to a season ticket holder. However, I have never seen the same people sit there and in fact the away fan I reported and had removed a while back sat in one of those seats. Wondering if I should report that to the club?

Back on topic, there are probably a few hundred seats available in the East and tons of singles in all the other stands...

They've no interest unless something kicks off. Plenty of Spurs in S108 on Thursday, one allowed to sit all game with a Spurs scarf on next to a stair way that the 'stand manager' went up and down at least once in the second half (the scarfer did look potentially special needs though).

Looks like @JCMcBee will need to channel his inner Braveheart defending the East Stand on Wednesday 🫣

Maybe not even enough time now to give them away to local schools and clubs.

....I noticed this.... worst sales this season in the East.... good luck to STHs on exchange.

It's true, but a Wednesday night game in the coldest week of the year against Category B opponents will show that more than most. Some actual discount might have been in order... the chosen incentive to drum up interest is "you can invite a friend".

It may be a blessing in disguise we're not also plugging a so-so FA Cup home tie this weekend, as that might have watered down demand for £40+ PL tickets even further.
