BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

1st post updated.

Kayode picked up his 5th card of the season, but in the match after that particular deadline

He and Schade need to avoid collecting 5 in the next 12 games...

Unfortunately I suspect Damsgaard will be added onto here soon

EDIT: providing Chief Keith is right, I'll be happy to be proven wrong

First post updated for the first time in 4 games

Schade misses two PL games and the FA Cup game at Macclesfield following his sending off for "violent conduct"

Closest to getting 10 cards in the next 8 games are Kayode and Schade who are both on 6 YCs (although Schade will have 2 fewer games to make that "target")

Added a new row for Luka too.

Tracker updated in first post for Newcastle

Vitaly has picked up 4 YCs in 5 games. Needs to avoid another 4 in the next 6 games.

Janelt came on as a sub against Spurs (A) and Damsgaard came on as a sub against Sunderland (H)

Thank you very much. I honestly appreciate that level of forsenic checking!

Vitaly is now definitely in trouble.

There are 6 games before the next cut-off and he is 3 YCs away from a two match ban.

Now you may say "3 cards in 6 games? No way will that happen". However, he's picked up a remarkable 5 cards in the last 6 games.

Further, if you look at just the games he's started. Well, he's collected 6 cards in those 12 starts. If he maintains that ratio then he will pick up 3 in the next 6 and that would be a 2 match suspension.

Cards like he got today was just completely pointless.

No-one else is close to being in trouble. Until Schade finishes his suspension of course.

How many yellow cards does Keith Andrews have?

Does FA Cup yellows count ? A reason to rest if they do.

No. Yellows don't count across competitions. Reds do - hence Kevin misses the Macclesfield cup tie

I wonder if Keith will take Vitaly’s yellow card count into account with any team selections? Probably not unless on 9 cards with just one game left before the 10 card booking window closes. Plus the Wolves game when will most likely play a more attacking midfield. Although Brighton at home Keith may have decided to play Henderson anyway (with YY and Jensen).

Not getting any better for Vitaly is it.....??

Yellows in the Cup don’t count towards Premier League. Only suspensions due to sending offs are transferable.

Yarmoliuk joins Janelt on 7 YCs so also needs to avoid getting booked 3 times in the next 4 games. Getting booked today when not even on the pitch didn't help his cause!

"Unfortunately", VJ's chances of missing games due to Yellow cards seems to have drastically reduced.... 😐

Oi!

Give me a chance. First post now updated

Two players on 7 (SEVEN) cards. Janelt and Yarmo. Both have to avoid more than 2 cards in the next 4 games

Kayode, Kevin and Igor need to avoid 3 cards in the next 4 games

Surely you mean “more than 3 cards”

Janelt should be clear for the final 6 games…

Yep, what does metatarsal injury now mean, I recall back when England players forever breaking metertarsals including Rooney and Beckham due to soft football boots but seems less of an issue now? But agreed likely he will miss next few games so not likely to hit gen bookings. YY just needs to be careful as we need him with Vitaly out.

BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

With the build up of injuries recently, just checking if any of our loanees have a 'recall' clause?
Meghoma and Konak in particular could be useful, even if just options from the bench. Especially if we get any more injuries at the back or midfield........

Presumably both on season long loans though?

BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

There is no recall options outside transfer windows

the other news is....

BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

Not surprised at all, with having such a long time out previously he will need to be built up gradually again like we did this season. Shame, as he was back to almost pre injury levels

BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

The Vitaly news is minimum international break? Or should be back after?

It's an injury. The international break is long. So hoping that's a good target. No guarantees because....it's an injury

BFC PL Player Tracker 2025-2026 (Injuries, Suspensions, AFCON etc.)

No risk of Kayode, Thiago or Schade getting to 10 yellow cards before the cut off either

🎉🍻🎉🍻

So, with all the usual caveats about the inexact nature of recovery times etc, it looks as though in a best case scenario Vitaly, Ajer and Hickey could all return for the Everton game but probably not Damsgaard, and the slim hopes of seeing JDS in match action this season now look even more vanishingly slight.

Ajer is definitely back. He wasn't injured. Missed for the usual family reasons 🐣🐤🍼

It was welcome back to Josh and Vitality today. Wonder if VJ can be fit enough to play at major part at Maine Road next weekend. 3 points incoming if so
