They said that details of sales windows would be announced w/c 22 June which, I suppose, they still might.
Wouldn't have taken a lot to chuck out a tweet on Friday confirming or saying that details were still being finalised though

Unless they get one in end of July, can't see it.
They going to Portugal for closed doors training, Rennes on 8th, Frankfurt 15th, Season starts 22nd.
Then you got those left in WC to have their holidays.
I suppose midweeks could be utilised??

Our schedule seems a bit light with just two games most other teams gave around 4/5 in place. Especially after last year when the feeling was that the pre-season preparation was not ideal, where we had only a 2/3 open door ftiendlies.

I echo this. I'm in W233 (with other family) and no one asked me/us. Bit of a strange one. I would have thought that since middle / back of West is where the most vocal had already congregated that was the obvious area of concentration.

It seems very light. I know much of pre-season is fulfilling commercial objectives or commitments, but (as some examples) Liverpool have 5, Fulham 4, Bournemouth 5 seems around the norm. Start slowly with only two friendlies (3 if you count the BCD in Rennes for a Brentford XI) and it’s inviting criticism.

Last year it seemed that way with all the disruption around, and maybe the World Cup has an effect this time, but also you have to presume that Keith has some input and if he'd pushed for more 1st xi friendlies, we'd have them. Maybe the club are working on an assumption that most teams have too many friendlies, and this is the ideal number for preparation?
