Jordan Henderson (Chelsea or elsewhere)

A club and player can mutually terminate a contract whenever they wantHow can he leave on a free did he not sign for two years.?
My uneducated guess is that the club are open / willing to let him go.How can he leave on a free did he not sign for two years.?
Maybe a clause in his contract? Why would we give him a free when we have the chance to rinse Chelsea
Bizarre going ons over there. Welbeck, now Henderson . Very odd
Not sure we need that many new bodies.Well, if he goes I agree with others on here who have been saying we need another 6/8 in.
They were close to signing Xaka earlier in window, clearly want some experienced leaders in and around the young groupNot too surprised if he goes but very surprised if he went to Chelsea.
What are they smoking out there?
He would certainly need replacing though.
Opens door for Norgaard return?Good luck Hendo if it is true. Think we need a younger version of him so wouldn't be surprised to see him go.
Chelsea finished below us last season…I wouldn’t have thought anyone higher than us would be interested in him.
Agree. I really hope there is a younger, faster replacement lined up for him. He'd be nothing more than a sub next year imo. He’d leave with my thanks but I think this is a decent result for the bees.

Nope I think him and Alonso missed each by 2 seasonsI suppose he's at the stage in his career where he needs to drop down the league to get minutes. Assume he played with Alonso at Liverpool too
Doubt it he'll go back up north when his career is over. As we saw with Saudi he'll go anywhere for a wage. Personally don't see it as any type of loss as he's long past his bestLining up for a future coaching role at Chelsea? Purely from a playing pov I can't see the logic of it.
We finished above Chelsea last season but i know what you mean.Bizarre all round.
With respect to Jordan, especially given his age, I wouldn’t have thought anyone higher than us would be interested in him.
Linked to Welbeck too, clearly they’re freaking out over now having too young a squad and now need old heads.
Oh, that makes sense. I thought he was referring to a different highWe finished above Chelsea last season but i know what you mean.
So that’s the answer! He couldn’t walk any further than the Liverpool team…but his legs started to go badly in the run in.
Not bothered from an on pitch perspective but leaves a bit of a void again in terms of leadership of it.
They also understand the club much better than Henderson. I never got the impression he was fully on board.I think we have seen leadership growth from the likes of Janelt and Ajer in the last year and the squad is not really that young or inexperienced.
