Agree, nice engaging style. I’d argue though that if the east and west stands at Highbury weren’t listed they’d have been torn down quicker than you can say “Firestone Factory”

And as for Arsenal FC getting "credit" for saving the stands, once they'd sold the site it was nothing to do with them, it will have been the developers. Who as you say, must have been constrained by the conservation listing.
