Beside the points already made about this sounding a bit 'weak', I seem to recall NC saying once that he was keen to 'settle' at a club afer a nomadic 3 years at Stoke, Burnley and Wolves.

With Pinnock sold, Arthur loaned, SvD injured, Ajer prone to an injury, Schuster looking like he'll need to be eased into the first team and the window closing imminently... Let's just say I can't see this happening and put it somewhere along the lines of the Forest offer for Thiago (if it's happened, it's made the big cheese giggle)
Obviously there will always be a figure we're gonna deal on but it's more than €50m and it's inflated when we're this late in a window.
Even if his agent or these clubs have turned his head about moving this window, I'm sure that 1) he'd want to say in England and 2) his next move will be a club that will realistically compete for honours (ie not Newcastle).
He'll know better than any of us, with the improvements being made to the squad, that we could very well do something special this season, which is less likely at these other two... Short term financial gain for probable sideways moves.

No on has any idea what Collins wants. It’s way to post on here saying stuff like “he wouldn’t want to go to either of these two”
I don’t think the club would humour any bid less than £60m this late in the window so it’s probably a non starter.
Leverkusen are a massive club who compete in Europe nearly every year so it’s not a non starter for Collins.

BL would probably be a tempting upwards step from a footballing perspective but I suspect not so much from a money one for him or us. Newcastle would be for money only. But when that means a pay rise of £100k+ pw that’s not nothing.

This was put up on Wednesday on the other thread! Why are we regurgitating this guff two days on. Leverkusen can’t afford him & we ain’t selling to Newcastle, even if there was a grain of truth in it! We should be celebrating what’s real like buying a new player for £40 mill.
