Surely not the most expensive GK. Chelsea paid the GDP of a small country for Kepa.
Most expensive in cumulative transfer fees is what they said on Sky I think.

I know this is a little harsh but I'm not sure the front 3 have been as dynamic as they can be yet 👍

Good times when they do 👍

I’ve mentioned this before, but there does seems to be an over balance from "Up Norf" of PL referees.

Harrington comes from Yorkshire, and where is Leeds?! But obviously it would be wrong ro say that he was affected by the home crowd.
If that foul had happened to dirty Leeds, with the roar from the knuckle dragging crowd, he would have given it 100%.

Can we not do this after every game, should've been dead and buried in the first half.

Actually no, we can do this after every game if the ref has been that f***ing awful. That is a stonewall pen on shade and cost us 2 points, we missed out on Europe by 1 point last season. All the fouls against Thiago are a total joke and Wilson running into collins and holding his face is a disgrace. We get a booking and a dangerous free kick when the keeper had the ball in his hands 4 seconds earlier.

Last week Oliver got lots of praise and rightly so, but if the ref had an absolute f***ing nightmare I reserve the right to mention it, thank you,

It's very early days, but I think I know what you mean. I believe that once the season is truly rolling, around mid-October, perhaps then we'll see our front line come into fruition and bear fruit.

From where I was sitting it didnt 'look' like a pen in real time, but I couldn't see why Kev would have gone over if it hadn't been a foot in, so guessed it probably should have been given but this ref was giving us nothing unless he had to today.

Fair play to Farke, I think he got the substitutions right today, although that's taking nothing away from KA.

The first half showed what a good side we are and on a other day it would've been game over at HT. A great overall start to the season and down in no small part to Keith rhat we've hit the ground running.

A point up at Elland Road is going to be tough for any team this season. Glad its out of the way.

22 shots 5 on target needs to improve.

This is one of the silly stats i think in that a shot blocked, even if on target, does not count as a shot on target. It has to be a goal, a shot saved by the goalkeeper or a shot blocked by a defender with the goalkeeper out of position. So the reality is, our shooting wasn't that wayward as there were plenty of desperation blocks today.

I think 100% on it Thiago buries the rebound off Trafford’s save. Tougher chance than it looked side on where I was half up from my seat before realising it had gone wide.

Overall a good point in a game which could have undone a lot of our optimism and the first one this season and preseason to have posed a major challenge. A shame not to have converted our complete dominance in the first half into an unassailable lead. Trafford is clearly a much better keeper than his predecessors we’ve faced who’d have fumbled 1-3 of the saves he made first half.

I think there’s even possibly a moral victory in having forced Farke to bin off the 532 that had transformed them last season from relegation fodder.

A great display by the lads on the pitch.
We silenced the crowd in the first half.
All you could hear on the TV was the 'brilliant' Bees supporters.
I think that someone at half time said Brentford had over 60% possession.
Leeds overloaded the midfield second half, and eventually got their equaliser. The home crowd woke up then!
A difficult place to play at Elland Road.
To return to TW8 with a point is disappointing, after that first half performance. However, if you are unable to win a game, don't lose it and Brentford didn't !
The togetherness, determination of this team is top drawer, as was the vocal support from the terraces.
Also, the support in the Kings Arms wasn't too bad either, as was the Sunday lunch 👍.
Fourth in the Premier League tonight 😃.
COYB's 🐝⚽👍

It’s bizarre. He’s a good keeper but in terms of distribution he’s nowhere near as good as Kelleher or Raya.

He’s been sold twice in a very inflated market.
Yeh, his second spell at Citeh was unfortunate. Great keeper but Raya and Kelleher are top draw. Any keeper can save, distribution is the real key.

It was, but I would argue Wilson ran into Collins and collapsed holding his face. The ball was long dead, stupid decision.
From my completely unbiased view, Harry Wilson should have been shown the red card. Probably as soon as he was named on the teamsheet.

100% penalty wondering if northern ref favouring northern team?

Just back. So proud of the team. Total backing from our supporters at the game, from start to finish. Out sang them until their goal.

Thought the first half we were immense. One way traffic. We wouldn’t let them settle and more than deserved our lead at half time. Farke changed it and went for it, pushing the Weeds further up the pitch. Thought Yehor for Dams kinda put us further on the back step but I get why Keith made this change.

Another day Thiago scores with his header. Ref was diabolical. Towards the end it seemed he had his palm in the air and whistle ready to start the 5 second count as soon as we touched the ball for a throw. A good away point, still unbeaten.

If you were a Weeds fan you’d ask yourself why is Farke so ‘safety first’ with some decent firepower on their bench.

We play like this next Saturday, the Mackems are in for a very tough 90 mins.

No doubt the overall performance deserved 3 points. Our crossing and delivery from set pieces wasn't great and few gilt edged chances, but an enjoyable game and I was pleased to see the attacking mindset. Particularly in the first half. Overall a good point.

Leeds 1 - 1 Brentford (Schade)

From where we were sitting I thought the ball was in Kelleher's hands as Collins barged their player. So yes, harsh.
IMO it was poor from Collins, the ball was clearly making Kelleher. There was no need for it and put us under pressure for the last kick of the game.

That first half was sensational, we looked fantastic! Shame we could not hold on for a point however that we are going to have a very very good season of that first half is anything to go by…not many better teams than us!

Leeds 1 - 1 Brentford (Schade)

As good as the first half was we didn't miss a string of gilt edged chances and they were always going to bring on more attacking subs.

Deserved what we got a point and what we would have taken prior to the game. We do have a lot of sh*t too average teams coming up over the next few games and even at this stage they will be season defining. Can’t afford not to be winning these games as we need the points in the bin for the eventable dry run off results

Leeds 1 - 1 Brentford (Schade)

I wasn’t at the game nor was I able to see it on TV, but with the number of Bees supporters slating Harrington off I can tell he had a poor game and seemingly bias towards Leeds. Go back to when he was in the Championship and lower football leagues, he was poor then whenever I saw him at Brentford games. So I’m not surprised that he hasn’t kicked on from those days and now he’s a Premier League referee under the watchful eye of VAR and Howard Webb. I wouldn’t be surprised if on Sky sometime this week that Bernard Gallagher and his ex football pro mate will both agree the the foul on Schade should have been a penalty and that Harrington has made a poor decision that probably cost us the 3 points.

Hopefully Fabio be up to speed shortly so he can be natural replacement / sub for Damsgaard which will allow us to continue to link up midfield and attack as well as providing an additional goal threat. Although once Diouf up to speed we may also see KLP in that role either from start or changing position during a game.

Pray tell, who will said “eventable [sic] dry run of results” come against.
Know it’s hard to believe after 70 years of dross but we are currently, genuinely, one of the top ten teams in the world. Players are rightfully confident but don’t think the squad even realises quite how good they actually are. It’s scary!
