Apparently De Zerbi managed him at Shaktar, so he should know what he's getting.

And if it turns out he has gone badly off the rails since then, as you say, it's still only an option.

Just read he has an England cap (and goal) - completely forgotten that - but that seems like a lot of money for a player who didn't exactly shine last time out in the Prem

He's a decent player but a bit of a dick in my opinion. Remember him celebrating when they scored in the play offs against Boro by pretending to be looking through a pair of binoculars. Glad it went tits up for them after their spygate.

Is that a lot of money though? It is hard to tell what is normal now, this window has gone mad.

Quite a chaotic last transfer day. SSN are wetting themselves over all theses "scoops" .

Might be wrong but it seems like a lot of panic buying going on with some very overpriced deals on the face it.

Thankfully all seems quiet and calm at Jersey Road. Our main business seems long time done

I wondered if we'd go in for any Lyon players over the last week or so - apparently they needed to raise ~£100m in transfer sales after getting knocked out the CL.

Anyway... City casually dropping £320m on their midfield this window on three players. The cheapest of which was signed for double our record transfer fee, whilst you could have built a recent Premier League stadium in West London for the price of each of the others. All getting a bit daft.

Could easily say a few of ours should be going for north of £80million at this rate.

I know its Talk Sport but Bent and Co talking about Alex Scot being valued at over £100mill.

Just plain stupidity. And i think will really set us up for years to come with our smarter recruitment.

Apparently he’s done his medical for whoever in France.

This is now just about who can line the agents pocket with the most money. So glad MB and PG refuse to do business that way.
