There’s been plenty of internal and external praise of our performance away at Leeds in the match and “Things others say” threads. However, will never tire of cooing about how good we are right now.

Only way the opposition can stop Schade is with repeated fouls, and he still scores. Damsgaard can get himself out of tight situations in more improbable ways than the A Team. The back line and Kelleher are looking tighter than [insert inappropriate simile here]. Favourite moment from the weekend was this interplay between Vitaly Iniesta and Xavi Sangaré.

One of our finest performances in the last 50 years and 4 entries in the "Champagne moments" thread.

Well I'll chip in a few:

- Pure dominance of the first half. Leeds could hardly get a touch of the ball, in their own place, in a game they were well up for
- first half touches in the opposition box. Leeds 3 - Brentford 26
- the display of total football and sequences of passes that made me think - is this really Brentford???
- Shade playing some joyful football capped off with a wonderful goal

Yes Leeds played their way back into the game in the second half and were very lucky to grab an equilizer.
On another day we would have had the 2nd "insurance" goal by then
On another day the foul on Schade in the Penalty area would have been given.

An absolutely wonderful performance, that has demonstrated how Matthew Benham and his team have taken Brentford to heights that most of us could not have dreamt of.

A great atmosphere in the away end I thought. We were as far left as you can go, and the steward let the boy and I stand on a flat area as he was blocking the view. We were surrounded by the 'Polish Bees' I think, a couple of them seriously work out and they were starting songs throughout. A great watch between two decent teams, the boy commented on the way out how different it was from the turgid 0-0 in March!

Champagne for me was not losing as would have been an utter travesty after how well we did. And all the nice things the Leeds fans were saying about us
