Knowing our luck in cup competitions we’ll actually end up getting to the final of this one and have that trip to Wembley ….which no one will want to go on!

I could not think of anything worse than a day out at Wembley supporting your team.

Especially this upcoming season.

What you don't quite grasp is that the Women's team is not a gateway to the Men's team we all love so dearly. Don't even dare to suggest the Women's team should offer out taps.

I thought it was something like that. So the B team being some way off the level of a L1/2 first team isn’t really relevant if we select our strongest eligible XI which could include a lot of first team players.

Whether we want to or ought to approach the competition like that is another matter. As is whether we should be part of it at all.

Either way, the players are our players so even if we are dead against being in the competition we ought to be able to support them as such if we want to.
